“I really am going to be nice this year, especially to Ben” admits Ashley Saunders, and for the first time today, he’s not smiling. SCSHFL is half an hour into our meeting with the ‘I Am Ashleh’ gaffer, and the man frequently known as Bobby Lashley starts to turn his usual hue of red when he gets excited. It was only a matter of time before the topic of his awful chat last year came up.
He explains: U no it made th leegue much better last yr.
Indeed. Ashley’s constant chat made him the much revered villain of said league last year, so there were definitely smiling faces when he was eventually knocked out in the semi-finals.

You came so close last year, the front runner for most of the season, only to lose to approximately 300 Harry Kane goals. How did that make you feel? this is still a hard one for me to talk about...I new that the pressure was all on me as I was clearly a class above the rest but sadly when it came to it I feel short.i let my family down Maureen still won't talk to me.the burger boys don't txt me back no more but most of all I let myself down
Managers often have a war of the words with each other, but Ben and you seemed to take it to the next level last year, why do you think this was? Ben is just a angry man.i don’t no why he hates me like he dose ? But when your sucseful like me your going to get people that hate on you and bens just one of them I guess.hopefully know he’s won some thing he will calm down.but knowing ben he’s probably having a fight with his reflection as we speak

Your pre-season has been rather different to everyone elses; a 3 week trip to Australia. Do you think you’re going to be under-prepared as a result of that? iv been to Australia you no.i fell good I feel ready to go the break was good for me after such a hard season at the top it was chance for me to think about how great I am and how this will be my year. I was born ready this is my time
A lot of new managers this year, is there any one you’re particularly worried about? I think it’s great there is some new faces in the league all it means to me is more money to be won any of them worry me ? No bring it on I say
And finally, where do you think you’ll come this year? Top 4 is all that matters at first.after that I have to be the champion any thing less then that and Iv failed
