It was my sixth dive in a little over a week, and I was about to hit the water with Four Seasons Kuda Huraa in the Maldives. I tightened the straps of my Buoyancy Control Device (BCD), went through a final buddy check with my PADI Divemaster, and without a care in the world, descended into the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. It was only later that I realized I was so fixated on a desire to see the mantas just off the coast of Malé, that I hadn’t felt any of my normal pre-dive nerves.

Kickstarter Voting and new merch!

There is a LOT going on in our Reef Ohana Kickstarter campaign! We reached our goal, first of all. YAY! The pins are being made!!

Next, we are having a round of voting for the backers to choose what our stretch goal should be since we've got a little less than two weeks to keep funding.

Voting will be open for backers to choose the stretch goal until MONDAY at 9:30 AM PST! If you're a new backer, check the updates! Pledge to join the voting!

There's two more days for backers to vote but the votes are heavily leaning toward a sixth new enamel pin design.

If that ends up being the choice for the stretch goal, we'll have another brief vote to decide what Hawaiian reef creature the new pin should be. Options are (images from Wikipedia)

1. Christmas Wrasse

2. Bullethead parrotfish

3. Peacock grouper
