Sculk!Cub watercolour (with a little acrylic)

Decided to do a watercolour sculk!Cub to keep my Secret Life!Scar company

Sculk Scar is such a chokehold idea.

Saw a picture once of Cub corrupting Scar with Sculk, and I wanted to screech.

The image of Cub kissing him slowly as he holds his face with Sculk creeping up the others face.

Ahhhhhhhh

Oooooh… imagine if the hermits saving Cub from the Sculk, or even Cub himself later, making a deal to completely get rid of the sculk from himself.

But he doesn’t realise that the Sculk finds a new host in Scar.

Also thoughts of what the Sculk could make Cub do to Scar are just aaaaaah give me that guilt of Scar being hurt and Cub apologising over and over. And Scar being torn between remembering the terror, maybe even still recovering, or unable to recover fully, from his injuries, and insisting to Cub that he’s find to stop his friend worrying.

I don’t care that this technically isn’t a headcanon it’s still so fun to think about.

There’s a series of frames in my (unfinished) Sculk!Cub animatic of Sculk!Cub with Scar, and the horror in Scar’s expression as he sees what’s happened to his best friend.

I have a few I adore

1: Cub when Sculked stayed far away from Scar, afraid of hurting or infecting him. But he also desperately craved Scar to be near him as it was very very lonely. Scar however was more worried for Cub, and told him he didn’t care if he got infected if it meant the other didn’t have to be alone. Kind of reminded Cub of how they got vex possessed one season. Scar refuses to leave his side. It might be unhealthy, but they both can’t help it.

2: Vexes don’t smile showing teeth. It’s a sign of aggression or hunger. Cub and Scar don’t even flash teeth at each other or other hermits. So when in the life series, Cub watched Scar flash his teeth at someone. They’d think it was a sign of friendship, but anyone who knows Vex knows Scar is threatening them.

3: Another I liked is Cub was furious at Grian after Double Life. And refused to be near or talk to him for a long while. Afraid he wouldn’t be able to control himself after how Scar came back very clingy and worried Cub would leave him for someone better. Eventually they worked it out, but there is still a bit of tension if the subject is ever brought up.

4: Cub can cook but can’t bake. Scar can bake but can’t cook. So it works out in the end lol.

I’ll think of more later as I have a few.

1: yesss that’s adorable I love it

2: absolutely, that’s so cool, I love it

3: 100% yes. I have a 5-part oneshot all about the fallout after Double Life of Cub and Scar hating Grian for Double Life (and other events because of that)

4: yes. All the yes. And add on my own little headcanon that Cub’s incredibly precise when making food and Scar’s just ✨chaos✨. And to an even bigger extreme when they’re cooking together just to wind the other up. (‘Oh, Scar, how many grains of sugar do I need?’ ‘Just a handful!’)

And now I want to see the chaos of Scar and Zedaph (who I also headcanon as being the messiest cook around) trying to bake something. Take crazy cooking and make it their genuine preferred method.
