Alright, as promised here are my entire thoughts on this last season.
Out of all 6 episodes, I thought that 3 were good. The first two, and this last one. Although I don’t agree with how it ended, I thought it did a good job of wrapping up the season--that is, if it were a mid-season finale. It left me with more questions than I had answers, and it was unsettling. Not a good way to end a show, in my opinion. So there has to be another season coming out. We already have David Duchovny saying he wants to do more episodes. So where is our season 11 announcement? Or an announcement for the rest of season 10? 6 episodes is such a small season for a show that has an average of 22 episodes per season.
And don’t even get me started on my feelings about William. I was so sure we were going to see him and that Scully and Mulder would have closure with their son; instead, we have an ending clip of a UFO beam light in Scully’s eye, with her whisper of “William”. We don’t get to see him--just hear his name, and assume he’s somewhere on the UFO. I don’t know about you guys, but some closure between the three of them would be nice.
I was left last night feeling disappointed and angry--I still want to throat punch Chris Carter; I’m not sure if that’s out of hate or love to be honest. I’m sad it’s over, but glad to have been on the journey, and anxiously awaiting news for season 11 or continuity of season 10. So, like all of you out there, I will be waiting with somewhat baited breath.

p.s., do not get me started on my feelings about CSM and Monica Reyes.
