"Schrodinger’s cat walks into a bar. And doesn’t."
She makes a point to give the woman a look but proceeds to indulge with a little laugh. It’s a clever joke but not the kind of humor to incite a heartfelt chuckle.

11: Collarbone Kiss
She slightly pulled at the collar of her shirt, merely to confirm the fact that the shirt was indeed hers. The sight of the label reassured her as she leaned in to run both arms around to rest against her stomach pulling her in tightly. Her chin rested gently against the nape of her neck as she gently let her lips brush against her collar bone.

Kenshin took pause as the young woman spoke. Had he been staring at her so intently? Was it because of her beauty? Well, something was definitely calming about her appearance to him, either way. Perhaps he’d ought to take her quip seriously. He smiled and nodded at her, tilting his head to the side. “I apologize if I’ve made you uncomfortable.” He held out his hand. “I should introduce myself. I am Kenshin, Kenshin Uesugi. I am the curator of the island’s museum. And you might be?”
He seemed truly interested in getting to know her, whoever she might be. At times he could be aloof, yes, but lucky for him, and perhaps for Ema herself, this was not one of them.
