A smile spread across Wanda’s features as she took the rose from him, flattered by the kind gesture. She didn’t exactly understand WHY Valentine’s day was a thing, but it was nice to show people you loved them - platonic and romantic - so she approved of it, although she didn’t need a special day for it. “Thank you, that is so sweet. I love roses.”

In Val’s experience, any sentence that began with the phrase ɴᴏ ᴊᴜᴅɢᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ or anything of the likes, certainly did not hold the sincerity it intended to express. Regardless, the mutant knew that the other did not hold any ill will towards him in his heart, and lucky for Scott he was pretty too. A paper-thin brow raised at his remark, hand resting against his hip. It was pretty ʙɪɢ talk coming from what could be such a sᴍᴀʟʟ fella.

“That’s kind of the ᴘᴏɪɴᴛ- oh never mind,” the mutant conceded knowing all too well it would be a fight he would lose, “I just ᴋɴᴏᴡ it’d be easier for me to sneak in than you. No ᴊᴜᴅɢᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ or anything but last thing we need is you being stepped on.”  The idea of company, however, would be one that Val liked very much - two heads were always better than one, after all.
