Today i'll show you some old mini. These are three minis from one of the retribution of scyrah's battle group starter box. Painting the white parts was very challenging for me.
New paint project
A customized Warmachine playmat for my love.
Work to do before playing...
I have a lot of Warmachine stuff to assemble and paint in order to play the game. Unfortunately, I have to play video games as well. So I will list everything I have for my Retribution of Scyrah :
- Hyperion
- Hydra / Manticore / Pheonix box - Banshee / Daemon / Sphinx box - Manticore x2
- Chimera x2 - Griffon x2
- House Shytel Battle Mage - House Guard Halberdiers - House Guard Officer & Standard Unit Attachment - House Guard Riflemen
- House Guard Thane Solo - Arcanist Solo - Eiryss, Mage Hunter of IOS Mercenary Solo
- Warcaster Issyria, Sibyl of Dawn - Warcaster Kaelyssa, Night’s Whisper - Warcaster Magister Helynna
A lot of troops and machines to assemble but I have to be motivated. The new season was not enough to do the job but I heard someone in Gamezilla will play a kind of learning league. Where you will start with the battleground box and add more units between games to finish at 75 points.
Houseguard on parade! Aside from a bit of washing and the secret shine to a few of the Halberdiers, all 32 of them are finally complete! Now I just need to finish the other unit of Riflemen I have.
Now my (current) Retribution forces are nearly completed, and I’m very happy with how they’ve come out. When I first picked them up, I thought of utilizing the colors of the Blood Elves from Warcraft. While the armor designs complicated that in a way (Retribution armor utilizes far more plate armor, most of which has very little detail on it), the combination of a rich crimson, gold, fel green, and accents of black, silver, and underlying cloth still gives each piece plenty of character. Unfortunately, the camera does not particularly like the glossy red of their armor, and tends to obscure details or make them appear flat.
