I find it rather disappointing that for how much Qrow is reported to be a master of the scythe that makes Ruby look like an amateur, the only times we've seen him use it are (1) bisecting a Griffon and (2) getting his ass kicked by Hazel, and almost universally preferring his sword/shotgun; what're your thoughts on the matter?
While I agree that we haven’t seen him use it hardly at all, I believe that the staff have stated that his sword/shotgun combo is for speedy enemies and close range while the scythe is for Grimm.

A) Not willing to animate him fighting with his scythe because money constraints or just not sure HOW to show him being better at using a scythe yet (because the primary fight choreographer died)
B) They are waiting for a prime time to let us to see his complete mastery of the scythe and right now isn’t it.
Have faith in the developers, writers and artists is my recommendation. We will see Qrow be a badass again soon enough.
