So I've decided I'm going to make a new ScytheClan in clan gen to post, under a new name though. SickleClan (it sounds better than ScytheClan 2.0 and I just like it). I also have a number of rules I'm going to play by, some of which were taken from other clangen challenges to fit something that gives me a bit more challenge and that I like. So expect an intro and some SickleClan posts soon

ScytheClan Moon 21

Leafbare is here and Briarpelt died in an accident at 32 moons old. Lakehail learned some new moves from Hollystar.

Checking in: Sorrelkit is praising Hollystar on a good hunt. Violetpatch has been preforming poorly. Lakehail has been preforming poorly. Crowheart is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Crowkit is scared about something. Tumblekit is bouncing around in excitement. Scarcreek wishes to meet other medicine cats soon. Toadpatch is feeling happy. Bumblesong wants to visit StarClan. Mudfur is curious about other clans. Branchswoop has been preforming poorly. Midgegorse is keeping an eye on Minnowkit. Quailspeckle is looking forward to today. Loudkit is feeling lonely. Hollystar is feeling quite lazy. Perchdrop is feeling down.

Patrol time: Hollystar, Boulderpool and Toadpatch go on patrol. Boulderpool keeps getting distracted and trying to play around. Toadpatch and Hollystar are annoyed by Boulderpool’s distractions. Crowheart, Midgegorse and Quailspeckle go on patrol and come upon the scent of a large rat. They catch the rat. Lakehail, Mudfur and Echolight go on patrol and come across a thunderpath. The patrol crosses the path and can hunt on the other side. Branchswoop and Violetpatch go out on patrol and it starts snowing soon after they leave. Despite the cold they manage to hunt.

ScytheClan Moon 20

Brownheart died in an accident at only 14 moons old and Toadpatch had another litter of kits, this time 4. The kits in order are:

Sorrelkit, a currently attention-seeking female kit.

Haykit, a currently troublsome male kit.

Loudkit, a currently sweet male kit.

And Berrykit another currently sweet male kit.

Checking in: Briarpelt caught a huge rabbit. Toadpatch caught the smell of a fox earlier. Sorrelkit has been acting angsty. Tumblekit is feeling sassy today. Minnowkit is looking forward to today. Boulderpool is hiding something from Hollystar(That’s interesting. I wonder if it has something to do with Brownheart’s death). Perchdrop caught the smell of a fox earlier. Haykit has been acting suspiciously(How? He was just born). Quailspeckle is praising Mudfur on a good hunt. Crowheart is feeling quite lazy. Midgegorse is feeling quite lazy. Loudkit is feeling happy. Mudfur is acting huffy at Branchswoop. Lakehail is feeling quite lazy. Hollystar is feeling proud of Minnowkit. Bumblesong has been having weird dreams lately.

Patrol time: Boulderpool, Lakehail and Mudfur go out on patrol and the patrol has a disagreement and they look to Lakehail to settle the dispute. Lakehail stutters, Boulderpool and Mudfur don’t think she’s fit to lead a patrol. Hollystar, Briarpelt and Crowheart go on patrol and come across the scent of a hare. They catch the hare. Echolight, Branchswoop and Violetpatch go on patrol and come across a young loner at the border and Branchswoop volunteers to scare them off. Branchswoop’s ferocity frightens the young cat away. Quailspeckle and Midgegorse go on patrol together and notice that the leaves are starting to turn colour, they can tell that leafbare will be here soon. But for now hunting is still good.

ScytheClan Moon 19

Checking in: Brownheart has been acting suspiciously. Violetpatch caught the smell of a fox earlier. Bumblesong is listening to Boulderpool talk about being a loner. Hollystar is feeling happy. Minnowkit is pretending he caught a huge rabbit. Crowheart is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Crowkit has been spending time alone recently. Tumblekit is feeling sassy today. Mudfur is feeling amused with Tumblekit. Briarpelt caught a huge rabbit. Echolight volunteered to gather herbs(maybe he wanted to help his mom. That’s cute). Perchdrop is sharing freshkill with Brownheart. Scarcreek is feeling annoyed with StarClan. Branchswoop has been preforming poorly. Quailspeckle has been preforming poorly. Toadpatch is praising Quailspeckle on a good hunt.

Patrol time: Hollystar would insist Toadpatch stay at camp and rest this time, since last time she insisted on going out. Boulderpool, Lakehail and Branchswoop go on patrol and Boulderpool keeps getting distracted and trying to play around. Boulderpool’s playfulness lightens the mood. Midgegorse, Crowheart and Violetpatch go on patrol and Violetpatch admits he had a vision from StarClan. The patrol talks through the vision as they hunt. Briarpelt, Hollystar and Mudfur go on patrol and come across the scent of a large rat. They catch the rat. Echolight, Brownheart and Quailspeckle go on patrol and come across the scent of a fox. The mother fox fights to defend her cubs and Brownheart is left with a scar.

ScytheClan Moon 18

It’s now leaf-fall and a lot has happened. Toadpatch had another litter of 3 kits, in order being:

Minnowkit, a currently attention seeking male kit.

Crowkit, a currently daring female kit.

And Tumblekit a currently bouncy male kit.

Echopaw earned his warrior name of Echolight and earned a scar fighting a rat. He’s become a good teacher. 

Quailpaw earned his warrior name of Quailspeckle and has become a good hunter.

Mudpaw has earned her warrior name of Mudfur and has become a good fighter.

Brownpaw has earned his warrior name of Brownheart and has become a good hunter. He also invited in a loner named Boulderpool to join.

Boulderpool is a 14 moon old male, who’s formerly a loner and playful.

Scarcreek has earned his medicine cat name and has become a fantastic hunter.

Now to check in with the cats: Midgegorse is feeling proud of Crowkit. Lakehail has been acting suspiciously(Yet again). Toadpatch is feeling sassy today. Crowkit is dreaming about growing up. Echolight caught a huge rabbit. Hollystar is listening to stories about Embermouse. Mudfur wants to spend more time with Hollystar. Boulderpool is helping Crowheart with a recent injury. Minnowkit is whining about wanting to go outside the camp. Brownheart is sharing freshkill with Perchdrop. Crowheart has been acting suspiciously. Scarcreek is having a serious fight with Crowkit(Maybe he just doesn’t like kits). Bumblesong is curious about Minnowkit. Branchswoop is having a serious fight with Toadpatch(About what, I wonder). Perchdrop saw a dream about Quailspeckle(Interesting). Violetpatch has been preforming poorly.

Before patrol I noticed Boulderpool and Lakehail hanging out in the apprentices’ den. Since Boulderpool just joined it’ll be interesting to see which cats he gravitates to.

Patrol time: Branchswoop, Briarpelt and Quailspeckle go on patrol together and come across the scent of a large dog. They decided not to pursue the dog. Toadpatch(Deciding she was fine to go on patrol even though she just had a litter of kits), Boulderpool and Lakehail go on patrol together and come across a thunderpath. They cross the path and can hunt on the other side. Mudfur, Midgegorse and Echolight go on patrol and Mudfur seems to be picking on the other cats. The rest of the cats manage to ignore Mudfur. Crowheart, Brownheart, Violetpatch and Hollystar go on patrol. Hollystar sees someone claiming another cat’s kill as their own(Again?). Hollystar talks with the patrol about honesty.

Checking in: Midgegorse is acting huffy at Quailpaw. Hollystar is still following the growth of the young members closely. Briarpelt caught a huge rabbit. Crowheart is feeling down(I wonder why). Bumblesong caught the smell of a fox earlier. Perchdrop is arranging herbs. Branchswoop is also feeling down(Again I wonder why). Toadpatch wants to spend more time with Perchdrop. Lakehail is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Violetpatch caught the smell of a fox earlier. Echopaw is keeping an eye on Scarpaw. Quailpaw hates being compared to Embermouse. Mudpaw is bouncing around in excitment, she’s looking forward to becoming a warrior next moon. Brownpaw is feeling lonely. And Scarpaw is helping Bumblesong around.

Patrol time: Toadpatch, Brownpaw, Echopaw and Briarpelt go on patrol together and come across a thunderpath. The patrol crosses the path and can hunt on the other side. Midgegorse, Quailpaw, Branchswoop and Mudpaw go on patrol together and find a nice spot to sun themselves. The sunlight feels great and the cats have a successful patrol. Hollystar, Lakehail, Crowheart and Violetpatch go on patrol together and Hollystar sees someone claiming another cat’s kill as their own(Lakehail again I imagine). Hollystar talks with the patrol about honesty.

Checking in: Midgegorse is feeling sassy today. Hollystar is feeling quite lazy. Briarpelt is having a good time with Branchswoop. Crowheart is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Bumblesong is feeling sassy today. Perchdrop has been listening to StarClan’s messages carefully. Branchswoop is praising Crowheart on a good hunt. Toadpatch is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Lakehail has been acting suspiciously(Again). Violetpatch is feeling happy. Echopaw is feeling quite lazy. Quailpaw is asking to train with Mudpaw(Cute, he wants to spend time with his sister). Mudpaw caught the smell of a fox earlier. Brownpaw has been spending time with Mudpaw lately(Mudpaw is popular this moon I guess). And Scarpaw has been acting suspiciously.

Patrol time: Midgegorse, Quailpaw, Mudpaw and Branchswoop go on patrol and come across a strange object that smells strongly of two-legs. The patrol interprets the purpose of the object. Hollystar, Lakehail and Crowheart go out on patrol, Hollystar sees someone claiming another cat’s kill as their own(Lakehail maybe? Has she not been doing her own hunting and that’s why she’s been acting suspiciously?). Hollystar brings it up but the other cat denies it. Toadpatch and Brownpaw go on patrol, which quickly devolves into ghost stories leaving them both on edge. A branch snaps and they both run back to camp. Briarpelt, Echopaw and Violetpatch go on patrol and Violetpatch suggests this might be a good oppertunity for Echpaw to train. Unfortunately nobody in the patrol is good at teaching.

ScytheClan Moon 15

Newleaf has passed and it’s now greenleaf.

Checking in: Midgegorse is praising Lakehail on a good hunt. Hollystar has been following the growth of the young members closely(Makes sense, we did just lose an apprentice, I’m sure she’s worried). Briarpelt has been acting suspiciously. Crowheart is praising Toadpatch on a good hunt. Bumblesong is having a good time with Lakehail. Perchdrop is having a good time with Bumblesong(and probably Lakehail too). Branchswoop caught a huge rabbit. Toadpatch is acting huffy at Crowheart(Oh. Is he trying to suck up to his deputy and she’s just not having any of it? Lol, Crowheart please.) Lakehail has been acting suspiciously(And she’s hanging out with Bumblesong who Hollystar doesn’t seem to trust, at least not fully. Interesting). Violetptach is keeping an eye on Scarpaw. Echopaw is scared about something. Quailpaw thinks that Riverpaw died too young(Me too, Quailpaw). Mudpaw caught the smell of a fox earlier. Brownpaw is spending a considerable amount of time grooming. Scarpaw has been having weird dreams lately.

Patrol time: Toadpatch, Brownpaw and Violetpatch go on patrol together and run into a SedgeClan patrol at the border but nobody is hostile. Despite the lack of outright hostilities the situation turns awkward fast. Midgegorse, Quailpaw and Hollystar go on patrol together and find a nice spot to sun themselves. Unfortunately the patrol doesn’t get much accomplished besides that. Branchswoop, Mudpaw and Crowheart go on patrol and also find a nice spot to sun themselves(I wonder if it’s the same spot Hollystar and the others found). The sunlight feels great and the cats have a successful patrol. Briarpelt, Echopaw and Lakehail go on patrol together, said patrol quickly devolves into ghost stories and leaves everyone on edge.
