Letting out the quietest of yelps, the inkling stopped in his tracks when he realized he’d bumped into someone. Pulling ear buds out of his ears he settled them in the pocket of his hoodie holding his SquidPod before turning seafoam eyes toward the other inkling.
“Oh! Uh, sorry... I should’ve been paying attention more where I was going... I hope I didn’t bump into you too hard or anything...” Tucking his hands in his hoodie pockets, he shifted his gaze back down, sort of tracing the pattern on his skirt in anxiousness. He didn’t want to start a fight before it got really dark...

“Hey, I gotta ask, how do you wield that inkbrush so well?” Walking up to one of the inklings that had been on her team after a win in their favor, Callie was grinning wide with a bit of excitement. “I’m not big on using my only Inkbrush or my Splat Roller, but it’s just really cool to see those weapons in action and with skilled users to boot!”

The pink inkling smiled at her.
