I am surprised that most people i speak to IRL either assume I am atheist (99% of time) or Jewish (happened twice but I thought i should mention haha) and most of the time I do not mind. Sometimes though, I have interactions that make me really annoyed/confused

Like i wore my cross necklace today and an acquaintance commented on it very judgmentally, said something like "I didn't know you were Christian 😒 You don't look like the type."

Confused the hell out of me. Like how does one "look Christian"? How does one look like any faith? People all practice very differently and have different interpretations of their texts

I dunno, at the end of the day it doesn't matter that much because it's not a direct attack on me or my faith. I am also aware that other religions and peoples are not as widely accepted as Christians and this is very trivial in comparison to what they go through. Either way, it read as very odd to me
