I love the visuals, but you need to watch the video at the slowest possible speed. Otherwise, you'll miss all the details and interesting transitions.
They are definitely trolling the fans. They are still avoiding the spoilers, too. The video retells the story we already know — essentially what was revealed about season three at San Diego Comic Con in 2005. This includes the bowling ball that EB constantly talked about, and a wrecking ball — a reference to Miley Cyrus.
Handwritten messages are fun, but they're really hard to read. Drawings are even more entertaining, but sometimes I can't figure out what they mean. For For example, why do they draw circles around Lestat's eyes? Or sometimes crosses?
The opening credits show us things we already know. For example, I think the outdoor dining table is included because we have already seen behind-the-scenes photos of it. The dining hall is located in Lestat's childhood home and has already been featured in the trailer. The same is true of Lestat's tour bus.
There are references to other vampire TV shows and films. I was half expecting to see Vampire Snoopy, but no such luck!
