What’s in My Bag: The League of Hatters

Ten years ago, chadhatter and madhatter_boy got together and started what would become a six-person Alice in Wonderland cosplay group. For a decade, The League of Hatters has brought a little madness to cons, fairs, and all sorts of events.

They’re real pros, so we asked them to share their con must-haves on the floor with us. The message was clear: always carry makeup. When you’re walking around the convention center all day, you never know when you’ll need a touch-up.

You know what, I may have mixed feelings about the show right now, but in terms of J2 and Jared and Jensen content, I couldn’t be happier with what was being shared out of SDCC.  

I mean first up, they spent the day before the event golfing (with Bob), then after dinner ditched going out with their buddies to hang together reminiscing on the last 15 years.

And then right from the get go at SDCC, we hear they were out having breakfast together, then watching the line for Hall H (which I just loved that image of them taking it all in).  Coming out on stage together, the show making it clear that supernatural would not exist without Sam and Dean and not cheapening their moment for once by including things that should not be included.

Their silent little reassurances to each other during the panel. They were clearly having fun together in the signing booth, and even though I have reservations regarding the content that was coming out, they were both great in their individual round table interviews and seemed to be having a lot of fun.  It’s always a pleasure to hear them speak about the show, which we don’t always get from cons (because of the quality of the questions).  They are both so thoughtful and eloquent in their responses.

So to quote Jared, “my cup floweth over” with all the quality content, and after the show is over, that’s what this blog is still going to be here for.  Blogging what Jensen is up to, what Jared is up to and hopefully what Padackles are up to.

I am thankful to everyone that attended comic con and shared that experience with the rest of us.
