You may be shocked to know, this knife wielding maniac is kind of a bitch... okay, very much a bitch.

To me, Larxene is a good example of "just because it works doesn't mean I have to like it". Every bit of screen time she gets, she's obnoxious as hell, but that's her character. She's supposed to be like this. And given how Kairi and Aqua were written, I fear the alternative is Larxene being dull.

One genuinely nice thing I have to say about Larxene is that all her fights are good challenges without being overtly obnoxious like certain other Org members. Makes it all the more satisfying kicking her smarmy ass.

If you thought I was gonna be satisfied just drawing the OG members, you're sorely mistaken. Now we move on to the True Organization XIII, the Seekers of Darkness fit for Xehanort's master plans for the one true Kingdom Hearts... and also these guys.

I was already sold on Vexen becoming a Nobody again just to keep doing Replica research, but the double agent angle was even better! Elevating Vexen as a character in my eyes! Dude finally read Frankenstein and was all “Science really CAN go too far!”

Then of course there's the question of why the fuck is Demyx of all people back in the Organization? What is his history with the Keyblade Xemnas was rambling about? And why wasn't the human version of him and Luxord in the mobile game nobody played?

Even in a group like Organization XIII, there's gotta be one that doesn't put in as much effort as the rest. But be careful when he's backed to a corner, cuz that's when his music gets real loud!

I don’t care that his placement in the Organization (especially the true one) doesn’t make sense or that his boss fight is rough (especially the data version), I love this dude! He’s fun! Plus, musician fighters are always a treat, and using an instrument like a sitar is a fun bonus!

Also, are we all in agreement that he's totally a stoner? Like, you just KNOW he's using some of that water magic on his bongs! I can't be the only one that sees that, right?

The poor sap unfortunate enough to be the Keyblade wielder for the guys in black coats who're TOTALLY NOT the bad guys!

Starting off strong with my favorite Organization member, and my favorite Kingdom Hearts character in general. Even if the writing is messy, this tragic story works well enough for me.

The boy just wants to get through the work day so he can eat ice cream and dick around with his friends, and at the end of the day, that’s a tune we’re all singing!

Better get his name memorized, cuz this wild card is here to stay (everyone loves him that much, apparently).

Don’t get me wrong: I like him too, I see the appeal. It’s just that my enthusiasm kinda peters out when he just straight up looks at the camera and points out that he has a big fan base. Can’t we all just leave the poor 4th wall alone!?

And let's not be too distracted by his snark and charm and sea-salt ice cream, lest we forget the fact that he murdered two of his comrades in cold blood just to help out his ex in an espionage plot. It's no wonder the Nobodies he commands are Assassins.

You truly can't keep a good antagonist down, and even a demotion won't deter this gentleman from leaving death and flower petals in his wake! Just so long as he's motivated enough to not plan a coup.

Still wild to me that Xehanort thought it was a good idea to bring the two people who plotted to overthrow the old Organization back to the new one. Most would say that's a serious flight risk, Xehanort must've thought that he liked their moxie.

With all the betraying the Organization and cooperating with the Organization, Marluxia really has no time to remember he has a dead sister. That's the true tragedy here. How much you wanna bet he still forgets when he comes back as Lauriam in KH4?

It may seem like a demotion, going from team leader to follower... and you'd be correct... oh well, it was all part of the plan anyway, and this smooth talker is just as guilty as tricking a whole group of people into thinking they're helpless without him!

The emotional whiplash this man must've went through at the end of all this: betraying his master, then his old friends, creating a fake Kingdom Hearts that got destroyed, and failing in a different Organization. And when he finally starts feeling things, it hurts. Just a big ol emo, Mansex is.

But if you ask me, the biggest demotion was in his boss fights. Went from one of the best final bosses to one of the most obnoxious extra boss fights. As nice as having one-on-one fights with the new Organization members was in the DLC, not all of them (2 of them) are winners.

The OG big bad, the only sapient Heartless we've seen as of yet. Even if he isn't pulling the strings in the end, he still has the power of darkness at his beck and call, even commanding a dark guardian for protection (until his human self took him back).

It's gotta be such a crappy feeling: at one point, you're the top dog, manipulating the scenes, commanding the darkness, getting the rival best friend dancing around the palm of your hand. Then with a couple games after your defeat, you're second banana. How the mighty have fallen.

Honestly, Ansem figuring out there's traitors in the Organization and deciding not to do anything about it is so freaking hilarious to me! Just total "I am so done with this shit" behavior, and I'm all for it! He just goes to Riku and is all "just end it all already, man, I'm out".
