            𝖛𝖔𝖎𝖈𝖊𝖘   𝖎𝖓   𝖍𝖊𝖗   𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖉.    recurring   nightmares.   fugue  states   &   cryptic   messages,   the  delicate   veil   between   the   living   &   dead   nonexistent.   visions   of   her   friends’   bright   smiles   turning   to   anguished   screams   or   corpses.   the   truth   echoes   to   lydia  ;  the   BANSHEE   knows   true   suffering   better   than   most   people,   tuned   into   fate’s   radio   24/7   with   an   ever   present   sense   of   paranoia.   she   nods,   pale   features   kissed   with   melancholy   as   she   stares   blankly   at   her   own   hastily   scribbled   &   cryptic   symbolism   before   them.   she   can’t   decipher    it    either,   but   there’s   a   familiar   ominous   feeling   about   whatever   it   means.    like   something   bad   is   already   at    play.   ❛  i   think   the   definition   varies   for   certain   people.  ❜   she’s   always   afraid   someone   she   loves   is   on   death’s   edge,   always   terrified   of   the   premonitions   that   play   out   &   which   versions   of   them   will   actually   happen.   it’s   tainted   her   dreams   until   she   wakes   up   screaming,   only   to   pretend   she’s   the   queen   of   the   world   every   day       ❛  but   honestly   ?   that   couldn’t   be   more   accurate.   watching   your   best   friend   DIE   ...   having   to   figure   out   how   the   hell   you’re   going   to   adjust   to   this   surreal   parallel    universe   without   them   is   the   worst   feeling   in   the   world   ...   worse   than   any   hospital   stay,  ❜   she   confesses   slowly   as   if   she’s   halfway   in   another   world,   dulcet   tones   shaking   &   eyes   glassy.   she   doesn’t   want   it   to   happen   again.   she’d   do   anything   to   save   her   friends,   yet   she   can’t   even   figure   out   the   psychic   imagery   from   her   own   pen   at   this   point.

        TRUST   is   a   delicate   thing   to   lydia   martin,   especially   the   snake   pit   of    the   superficial.   the   strawberry   bombshell   may   be   plenty   of   things   to   her   peers.   hell   on   heels   with   a   colorful   assortment   of   labels   &   perceptions   in   her   wake   according   to   different   people   ---   whispers,   voices   &   faces   come   and   go,   &   she’s   never   taken   connections   lightly   when   she   loves   with    her   whole   heart.   it   takes   someone   special   for   lydia   to   consider   one   of   her   closest   friends,  and   steve   was   among   the   few   people   she’s   allowed   close   enough   to    see   her   true   colors.   she   trusts   him   too,    one   of   the   first   people   in   hawkins   she’s   connected   with   &   ensured   the   banshee’s   infinite   loyalty.   ❛   of   course   i   do,   ❜   she   confirms   sweetly   &   MEANS   it.    she   adores   him   &   it’s   written   all   over   her   face   ;   a   benevolent  smile   blooms   with   candied   cherry   lips.    ❛   you   should   know   that   you’re   one   of   my   very   FAVORITE   people,   &   there   is   nothing   in   this   galaxy   i   wouldn’t   do   for   you.    ❜
