I have not run a Half Marathon since Last April (La Jolla) and I haven't run more that 6 miles since last August...so I was a little worried about running 🤯(Achilles) and also bummed when my FAVORITE Half Marathon was cancelled! Thank goodness they were able to convert the race to a virtual and I'm so happy so many folks came out to support it! Well...I made it to the #SDHalf Packet Pickup and though I'm bummed the race has been cancelled, it was awesome seeing the cheery and welcoming San Diego Half Marathon staff and volunteers. Well....my 2:05 wasn't too bad (especially with Washington St on Mile 9 🤯) but I personally need to cut a little weight and most definitely need to add some more 'Long Run' training to my regimen!
