Some things are too Powerful to Prohibit
Following the Public Order Act in 2023, in 2024 the UK government issued guidance regarding Serious Disruption Prevention Orders (SDPOs).

This act gives the state and police a lot more powers to hurt harass and imprison protestors, or those suspected of protesting, or really anyone the government doesn't like.
In particular I'd like to draw attention to the prohibition from "being with particular persons". Basically if you are suspected of protesting, and are issued an SDPO, one of the things that can be ruled as part of that SDPO is that you can't associate with particular persons, named in your particular SDPO.

You can find it in the above, part 2, section 22, item 4, paragraph D
The UK government believes the essence of terrorism itself to be so powerful, so ravaging, that there could be 2 people who, even if bound, gagged and blindfolded, if they were to be close enough to each other, even unknowingly, the UK government would crumble. Like a magnet and a coil, no touch, speech, or other physical signifier is needed. The power of terrorism (or the power of love, depending on your preferred romanticising) is so strong that these two individuals - it could be you and me - can't be anywhere near each other. Lest the state be immediately razed to the ground by their fearsome might.
The UK government is so terrified of the connection that you and I share, that it will ban any contact between us whatsoever. For it knows the power within us.
I hope you do too.
