So. As you all know, byler was queerbait all along.
I've honestly been so pissed and sad and just overall disappointed, cause this is not what we deserve. WE DESERVE GOOD REPRESENTATION!!
The sheer hostility of this queerbait, too, is astounding.
Byler means so much to me, and it means even more to most people I know on here, surely.
As soon as vol 3 came out, one of my first thoughts was "Wtf..? The writing is so bad I could literally write something better than this, and with better representation" and i was mainly joking, but i thought about it more and... what if i actually did that?
I mean, its clear people are pissed. It's clear people want representation. People would appreciate it if i did it, right?
So, here I am now, two chapters into my gay romance novel (it's not even close to similar to st, im sorry. It mainly gave me inspiration to write about gays, not much else), "Sunny days with you"
Sdwy (Sunny days with you) is book that talks about Blake Sterling and Andrew Sinclair (IGNORE HE HAS THE SAME LAST NAME AS LUCAS. ITS A COOL LAST NAME OK?? also i was trying to find a last name that would work for a ship name). They go on a week long field trip (closer to five days, though), and have to room together. Due to unfortunate circumstances reagrding Andrew's sister Iris' friends, she cannot spend most of the trip with her brother, so he and blake spend it together, and their relationship blooms into a beautiful friendship, and eventually something more..
During all of this, we also focus on Iris Sinclair (more specifically on her relationship with her friends, bf and brother Andrew) and Noah Anderson (more specifically on his point of view on himself, the world around him and everyone else).
If any of that interests you, either the plot of the book, or the fact that this is all happening out of sheer spite and anger about being queerbaited, or if you just need a fluffy gay romance after having been so brutally queerbaited, consider coming along on my journey to writing and hopefully publishing my first novel by joining the community (and also just checking my updates on my acc. that would work too probably)
