She was a deception at the beginning of the war and ended up being sent off the planet in search of new sources of emerging and lost relics. Due to an unexpected solar flare, she crashed on Earth and landed in the ocean.
When she was in stasis for many years until seismic activity woke her up. When she came back the cybertronian war had moved to earth and Cybertron was dead.
She joined the Decepticons again, but after being with them for a while, she felt their values had changed over time and were no longer hers. She had her reasons for not being an Autobot, but she could no longer be a Decepticon.
She defected and ended up discovering some rescue bots—Mecha that would help all in need, no matter their side in the war or designation.
