About me :) (insert original title here)
Rules: 1. always post the rules. 2. answer the questions the person who tagged you asked, then write 11 new ones. 3. tag 11 people then link them in the post. 4. tell them you tagged them. 5. tell the person that tagged you when you answered the questions.
I’m not going to continue with this chain, because I’ve already (just) sent out another question chain, but I appreciated being tagged by you. :)
I was tagged by the wonderful @sea-beams to answer these questions
1. What is something of value within your scope of knowledge/experience that you could pass on to others?
My tolerance of other people. Also I speak some French, so I could pass that on.
2. What would you do right now if you magically had the means to do it? (Any possible consequences would still exist)
Riding a horse across a big pasture. At 6AM. It is sunny outside and chilly. But I am not cold. And my horse’s name is Penelope.
3. Do you usually live your life for the benefit of yourself or the benefit of others? Be honest.
For the benefit of others, and I’m not trying to show off here...
4. What are some things you wish you never quit on?
Playing musical instruments (clarinet and cello), dancing (contemporary, tap, ballet, jazz...), learning chemistry.
5. What are some things you’re glad you quit or that you currently need to quit?
Going to bed late, procrastinating by checking Facebook, touching my face when I’m nervous.
6. Is there any literature/film/music that has profoundly impacted you as a person?
TV show: the X-Files. Literature: the Bible. “Gate 4-A” (poem) by Naomi Shihab Nye, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Music: “Wonderful” by Everclear. (Got me through some rough times in high school.)
7. What is the first place that comes to mind for you when you think of “home”?
My babysitter’s trailer, when I was little. I spent a lot of time there.
8. Pretend bragging doesn’t exist for a minute. What have you done that I might be jealous of?
I’ve been to the city of Biarritz, AKA the city where the beaches are enormous and the surfers are gorgeous. B)
9. If I froze time for 48 hours right now, what would you do?
Read and try not to think about other things I “should” be doing. Finish the letters I started writing a month ago. Go for a really, really long walk.
10. What are you currently working toward right now?
Let’s see. Figuring out what I want to do with the next year of my life, make friends with my coworkers, losing that perpetual 15 pounds, being more confident and less stressed, thinking before telling people what I think.
11. (A really random question) What is your most comfortable article of clothing or pair of shoes?
Clothing: a giant dark blue cashmere sweater that no longer fits my brother.
Shoes: my old, torn up pair of Keds sneakers, with drawings of the little prince all over them.
Thank you Thalia. :)
