“ . . . ” Oh. Apparently she had dozed off. But she didn’t remember doing so. Slowly fixing her posture as she sits up straight in her throne, the goddess sighs. No one had seen that . . Right?

“Tch, can’t you just stop existing.” She mumbled annoyed. This was one such god that she wished to never see again after all. One connected to the unfortunate fate of her younger sister. Him and that goddess Athena were the two she hated most of all the gods though if asked, she’d wish them all dead, gone, to cease existing. It was the least they all deserved for all that they caused or ignored for the tragedy brought upon to her sister, even putting salt in the wound and sending ‘heroes’ to dispose of Medusa.

@seacast Asked : "Well, don't just let the foal eat your hair, Hel. Gently push it, /gently/. Then, stroke its mane. It seems to like you! It won't hurt you, I promise."
“ P - Push it . . ? ” She’s still rigid, never taking her eyes off of the small horse while she speaks. Reaching out cautiously , she pauses with a flinch each time the foal looks at her , waiting until it looks away again to move. Eventually her palm meets it’s head , and with the least amount of force she can produce , she tries to nudge the creature away.
Cheeks puffing out when it won’t let go of her hair , “ That . . Is not food . . Please , let go . . ” Really , she couldn’t even feel it. And it wasn’t letting go . . So . . Maybe she should just , leave it ?
“ It is . . Highly improbable that , that tastes good . . Why do you insist on eating it ? ”

@seacast Asked: “If you want to regain my trust, you have to earn it.” // Fen to Tyr after meeting again : )
Man , this was . . The happiest she’d ever been in such a long time. She could barely contain herself. It was taking every ounce of control in her body to keep herself from pouncing all over her friend! But she knew better than to do so . . Not right now , anyways. With a sunny grin slapped across her face , Tyr bounces along beside him with a joyful hum.
Asgard was at piece , Loki and Odin made up , Odin somehow made peace (?) with Surtr , and Fenrir was back ! Today just couldn’t get any better ! Before she has the chance to start whistling , she’s brought from her happy skip by his words.
Oh . . Yeah.
Well, of course! That only made sense! What happened, regardless of her intentions, must’ve been pretty traumatic and overall . . Super sucky. But that’s why she was going to do everything in her power to make it up to him.
Pausing , she turns a newfound expression brimming with confidence up at the wolf, Tyr nods , “ I know. Whatever it takes . . I’m going to prove to you that I’m worthy. That I’m someone you can trust . . That I’m different. ”
And then her sunny grin returns , “ I’ll do anything ! So , tell me what I gotta do! C’mon , c’mon , tell meeeeee ! Whatever it is , I’ll do it ! ” The last bit is spoken as she grabs onto , then hangs off of , his arm.

@seacast Asked: “What on earth is worth betraying someone who loves you?” // Fen to Tyr, YET AGAIN after his binding.
They’d been like this for a while now , hadn’t they ? Long enough , by her count . . The time for his release would be soon, and yet . . It still felt so far away. Once he was free then she could . . Talk to him again.
But even then , would he want to talk to her ? After all this ? Probably not. But so long as he was safe , it was worth it. That’s what she told herself. Day in and day out. Every day she came to see him. So long as he ended up safe , it was worth it.
Today felt . . Different. He wasn’t pacing when she arrived , nor did he attempt to strike her when she got close (even though he knew he couldn’t reach her anyways.) He just . . Sat there. Watching her.
And once she set the food she’d brought down near enough for him to grab , she did the same. Tilting her head , she begins to worry a bit . . Was he sick ? He was normally on the food as soon as it was on the ground. Just as she moves to scoot it closer in hopes of coaxing him to it , he speaks . . And she’s left to sigh.
This again , huh ?
Well , luckily , she’d cried all she could the first couple of days. So nothing he said was going to make her tear up anymore, and this was a valid question. He still must’ve been so confused . .
Raising her eyes from the food to the wolf , her countenance softens. Her remaining hand raising to touch the bandaged stump on her other side absent mindedly.
What was worth betraying someone who loved her ? Well . . In Fenrir’s case , for his safety . . ? Everything. But she can’t say that , of course , so . . She does the only thing she can do: Look at him with a sad , sad smile , then get up . . And leave.
MEME : ACCEPTING. @seacast Asked: “I would have done anything for you, but you’ve ruined all of that.” // ALSO FEN TO TYR JUST AFTER HE WAS BOUND WAHAAHA
Please . . Stop. Please don’t say things like that. Not right now. Not when she was trying so hard . . Not to crack. Avoiding his eyes , she glues her eyes to the side wall. Her hands balled into fists while her nails dig into her own palms so hard they bleed.
Didn’t he understand . . How hard this was ? Didn’t he get that she was doing this for him ? No . . There was no way he could. She didn’t tell him. She couldn’t tell him. This was . . Her fault. And she knew that! She’d thought she was prepared for this but . .
Her throats begun to hurt , she’s been straining herself so hard . . Trying not to break down. But she can’t hold it back any longer. With a loud sob the god falls to her knees , hands raising to hold her face , in turn , smearing her countenance with the blood on her hands.
Her body shakes as she lets lose the tears she’d been holding back. Unable to stop herself , she raises her blurred gaze to get a glimpse at her former companion through the bloody tears. And yet , she still couldn’t speak. She would not break her promise . . She would uphold her end of the bargain and then Fenrir could live.
So what could she do . . What could she do to show him . . ? Eyes downcast as the tears continue to pour over her cheeks , she scoots herself closer to the bound wolf and slowly raises her hand. Sniveling , she manages to lift her gaze one more time to meet his as her hand encroaches upon the space near his body. Her arm was close enough for him to be able to touch now.
Close enough for him to bite.
