Just eat the cheese... [ captain u ⫽ sms ⫽ sent ] ⟶ Any who, I scrape the cheese off, wasting it. So technically it is cheese-less grilled cheese, well more cheese infused grilled cheese. Tell me I’m not a genius?

     Gil hummed as he swabbed the deck, dancing a little bit with the mop in his hand because... well... nobody was looking! “What’s my name, what’s my name...” he mumbled under his breath, “shrimpy, say it louder, UMA!” The last word - her actual name - ended up being yelled as he did a half jumping jack, ending up looking like a starfish when he stopped moving. Little did he know, the person who’s name he was singing was close enough to hear him. When he saw movement out of the corner of his eye and whipped around to look, his eyes were wide. Hopefully, hopefully she didn’t hear him say shrimpy. Gil grinned at her innocently. “Hey, Captain!”

It would have been obvious to others who knew well of his kind he was anything but dead. His heart was still beating despite it being weaker for a time. His breathing had gone quite shallow after a vicious fight had happened. Carefully, he pushed himself up and wiped the blood off his face only to glance toward the woman carefully with hazy blue eyes for a few moments. “My body was trying to rapidly heal up. It will take more than that to finish me off, I assure you, Uma.”

“that is not what i meant and you know it.” uma says, shaking her head at the girl. as much as she looks at cj as a little sister, and as much as she cares, uma can’t deny that the younger hook has a way of frustrating her. “cj you can’t just leave, and not tell anyone. if something happens to you i…” she cuts herself off, she’s not the girl’s mother and uma knows it. that doesn’t stop her from caring, or wanting to keep her as safe as possible on an island where nightmares literally breathe and live. “just, i don’t know, leave a note next time.” she finally says, resigning herself to the fact that cj will do as cj pleases even if it leads her right into danger.

calista jane loved to just disappear off of the isle . it was a talent that she was fairly good at . what started as a way of finding her biological mother was now a way of escape from the life she a shadow in . her elder siblings always seemed to be one step ahead , making their father proud . cj wanted that . if she could not make her father proud , she was going to make her mother proud . " she could feel her face heating up again . she was mad that people wanted her to stay at the isle . the pirate did not want people to expect her to stay on the isle . it was torture knowing that her mother was in auradon and she was stuck on the isle .
