The two girls were sitting on the dock, legs dangling in the water. Too-Ticky turned her head to look at Ninny, large smile on her face. She had just finished telling the younger girl about how to properly cast a line and catch the best fish.
“Smart and soft?” She asked, putting her head on Ninny’s shoulder. “That’s a lot to be!” The smell of Ninny’s perfume mixing with the salt of the sea water made Too-Ticky feel warm and comfortable. She has everything she could ever need with her right then.
