This is our very own spontaneous sealed ecosystem project after the vast biomass effectively sealed this bottle so that it virtually does not require watering anymore :)

My mushroom terrarium grew a friend! I don’t know how he got in there or what he ate, given the terrarium was only briefly opened a month ago to adjust moisture levels for winter, and had been sealed for another two months before that. No signs of anything eating the plants... little guy is a mystery!
