The Stag had never trully been warned about how unsafe he was while he was dreaming. Most of the time... he simply chose to ignore the calling voice that seemed to lurk. It seemed to come from the brightest of the corners of his dreams, the ones he usually avoided anyway considering he wasn’t too keen of bright places. The dark tunnels and deem light of the stations had managed to make the old Stag somewhat sentitive to light.
But this time, he had finally given in and decided to follow that voice, to walk towards the light and find out who had been calling for him all these years. Never in a moment he had wondered that it could have been whatever was responsable for making everything go to hell, almost putting even his work out of comission.
He was downright surprised to find himself in such a bright place, even more than he was expecting, and couldn’t help but to move his head down to avoid being blinded by it. The light was somewhat warm, what was a good surprise. And he could move and stand up, what was good also.
Finally, he decided to speak.
“Where... am I?” Came the question, more to himself than anyone else, stil unaware that he was in the precense of someone.
