Do you primarily play Republic, Empire, or a mix of both sides? Is there a specific reason for this preference?

I play both, but I can't lie - the Empire stories tend to be more fun. Being evil is fun. Being light-side in an environment where everyone else is evil is also fun.

Name your top favorite companions (feel free to include reasons why).

Kira - Because she's Kira. 😍 Lana - Because she's an actual canon example of a Sith character with a complicated but consistent moral compass. Most other Sith in the game are classic evil "villains of the week" regardless of whether you're playing Empire or Republic. Teeseven - Because he's cute. 🥰

2. Would they be a class specific character? (ie. Imperial Agent only. Republic character only)

I'd say with her background and service history, she'd best fit the Trooper storyline, but I think she'd be an interesting addition to the Jedi Knight storyline with her Mandalorian heritage so we'll say she's knight specific but she can be recruited along with Jorgan in KOTFE because I can see her going and volunteering for that kind of mission. (And no, I'm not saying that because they get married in my core setting, I can just see her wanting to fight Zakuul hard.)

12. Are they better as a tank, healer or DPS?

Tank. Tank tank tank. In the class story, she'd be a ranged tank with a blaster rifle whereas in KOTFE and on, she'd be built more like a powertech with a flamethrower and up close and personal with a blaster pistol.

13. What gifts do they Love? Like? What would they say when you gave them a gift?

Loves weapons, favorites are military gear and trophy. For stuff she loves "Ori'jate! I can use this!" and stuff she favors "hey, don't make me get sappy."

16. What’s their idle chatter like? Do they talk a lot (when you arrive on each planet) or do they suddenly say something in some strange places?

Since I imagine you'd pick her up on Tatooine, since she served there before joining Havoc in her core canon, she would make comments there about each region. I won't go into different regions on planets, but landing on planets after Tatooine

Alderaan: "Everyone on this planet walks around like they got a stick up their shebs. Makes me think of my grandparents."

Balmorra: "Gotta have respect for the Balmorran people. They kept fighting when we stopped."

5. How do they consciously realize that they like the other character? Does it take them a while?

For Juniper, it's by the tiefling party. It's nothing serious, not yet, but she forgoes spending the night with any of her companions and hangs out with the tieflings instead, trying to get Rolan to stop being such an ass for five seconds. She plays a bawdy song, teases him a bit, and in the end, manages to pull some sort of sincerity from him.

Rolan, it takes him until after Moonrise Towers. She helps him rescue his siblings, even after he's a royal ass to her, and she's still so kind to him and he realizes that he actually likes her. He doesn't know why but he does.

12. How much independence do they prefer in a relationship—do they want to share their lives as much as possible with their partner, or do they prefer to mostly do their own thing and let their partner do their own thing?

For their future, I see a mixture of both. Juniper was always independent, her parents raised her to be. She loves to play music, it's one of her biggest passions, and she spends a lot of time helping Alfira and Lakrissa with the bard school and eventually takes on her own student. She spends most of her day either in the Tower or at the school, sometimes she takes shows at night at local taverns, playing for extra cash. Rolan has his hands full with the Tower and Sorcerous Sundries. He hires more people to help, giving him and his siblings the breaks they need, and he opens his library to the public. He takes on a couple of his own students and spends a lot of time learning from Gale on his visits to Baldur's Gate (or they stop off sometimes to Waterdeep when they head off to Neverwinter). At the end of the day, they do everything they can to make sure the other has what they need, whether it's help or a break or encouragement or a kind word after a difficult day. They are a team, through and through, whether its their own pursuits or one they travel together, like building a family.

14. What makes them feel loved? Would they build up the courage to ask for it?

For Juniper, she loves being read to, having her hair played with, simple things like Rolan buying her a book that he thought she might like or coming home to a home cooked meal. She doesn't need big shows of affection. Just small moments that make her feel safe and warm and loved. She doesn't need much courage asking for something, she's never felt shame about her wants or needs. For Rolan, it would be harder for him to ask in the first place. But he feels loved (and embarrassed) whenever he catches Juniper watching him, her face soft in love. He loves when she braids his hair and when she does things that help makes his day to day work easier. Leaving his robes out in the morning, having his tea or coffee made, even being convinced to stay in bed late with teasing kisses or when the day is over, having her waiting for him with a kiss and questions about whatever it is he's working on.
