                 maybe  she’s  spreading  herself  too  thin   ,   her  day  had  already  been  dreadfully  long  due  to  the  combination  of  her  day   &   night  job  and  yet  she’d  agreed  to  meet  the  other   .   it’s  much  later  than  she’s  used  to  being  out   ,   she   should   be  getting  ready  for  bed  by  now  but  instead  she’s   here   ,   far  and  away  from  her  comfort  zone  and  every   GLANCE   the  other  gives  her  sends   chills   down  her  spine   .   hesitance  leads  her  to  tuck  a  loose  strand  of  hair  behind  the  shell  of  her  ear   ,   gaze  casted  downwards  as  she  says   ,    ‘     i    ...   don’t  trust  myself  when  i’m  with  you   .    ’

      head lifts from looking at his phone the minute the door squeaked open,  gaze falling onto the woman.  at first he’s silent,  unsure rather he should greet her or just continue like he normally would.  lips purse as he mulls over the pros and cons before finally daniel’s voice echoes in his head,  having him offering the tiniest smile,  corners of his mouth barely twitching upward.   ❛ hello. ❜

it’s her first off day in months and while that should be cause for celebration to some, for her it’s quite the opposite. for her days off mean she gets to play mommy again and that is her least favorite activity. it’d been fine when she was a teen but now that she has a taste of freedom from children, she’s realized that playing mommy isn’t for her in the slightest. not at the moment at least. she prefers playing doctor. but that’s also not an option at the moment. so now all that’s left is playing paying bar customer. her second favorite job. and her second favorite place to be. especially when it comes to the company. see, she’s already made friends with the bartender; a person whose company she enjoys when she’s getting drunk off beer. but not tonight. “hello!” she greets, taking her usual seat at the bar. “can i get a tequila?” safe to say she’s feeling the tiniest bit wild. / @sealyrics
