My dearly beloved SEAN DELEAR. The first time I met you was on the cover of a magazine I picked up at The Retail Slut on Melrose in the early 90s, It was you in all your glory posing with your band GLUE. I had no clue what it was but I took it home and kept it, it was very intriguing to me. Many many years later when I moved to Los Angeles, I met you at a party, I recognized you from that magazine. I didn’t know your name but I knew it was you. I told you how I’ve seen you before and you laughed, with that loud characteristic laugh of yours. We kept bumping into each other at parties, places, mutual friends. Everybody knew you and you knew everybody. You were always a joy to be around with. I remember our late night meet ups to go somewhere and get lost into the L.A. nightlife. I’m very grateful to have known you and spend time with you last Spring in Vienna and to take me under your wing and show me the whole city and spend time with your friends until dawn. This last photo of you laying on that couch the time you took me to all the vintage shops in Vienna. Smiling always. You are truly memorable.
Sean D: What's a trap table?
Me: It's a table.
Terence H: That traps you.
Ben W: Duh.
Terence H: And sends you to the underworld.

I learned a lot at my 300 hour teacher training: who I am as a teacher, what my authentic voice sounds like, and how to teach more effectively from that…

What I Learned About Life from a Prenatal Yoga Book…
I completed my 200-hour teaching certification just over two years ago this past January. As in most general 200 Registered Yoga Teacher trainings, we spent a very brief section of our time learning how to teach to pregnant women. Perhaps because I am not a mother, and have never been pregnant, I didn’t retain much of the information that I learned during that module of training.
So, when I was…
