Margaret exchanged a few more choice words with the angry man, who finally stormed out, leaving her holding her tray and glaring after him with a huff. She turned to set the tray on the table it belonged to with a quick apology for the wait.
Unfortunately, in the ruckus, she hadn’t noticed the door opening as Isabel entered. She headed back to the bar, glancing over the room as she stepped behind it, and checking herself when her eyes settled on the newcomer - a woman that she thought looked rather familiar. She stepped back out to go to Isabel’s table.
“Evening,” she said. “I hope you weren’t waiting long?”
