Sunflowers 🌻 to welcome summer.

I’ve been practicing how to draw sunflowers all week. Yesterday, I purchased real sunflowers, which significantly impacted my drawing.

Decorating for the holidays this past week🎄there’s something about this Christmas season that relaxes me and helps calm the anxiety. Maybe it’s because people are more willing to be patient and compassionate. Maybe it’s because I’m reminded to look outside of myself and my issues. I’m reminded to give and serve. Or maybe it’s just a combination of all those things and many more (I’m pretty sure that’s the case)! What I do know is that I love this time of year.
