Leave it to the rainy city of Seattle to shut down St. Patrick’s Day weekend! Due to heavy rainfall throughout the weekend, the annual bar crawl was unfortunately postponed. Back and better than ever, we’re expecting lighter rain this time around. With beers in both hands, you won’t be able to hold an umbrella. Most bars in all areas of the city will be hosting drink specials and tons of drinking games. Who cares if we’re late? We’ll be too drunk to care.

This plot drop is not mandatory. It’s simply an option to provide situations for members to further connections and ideas with with other characters. Or, it can serve as a developmental situation for your character as an individual. Simple or complicated, it’s all in good fun.
We ask that if you are participating to tag any starters with seatplot02 and seatstarter. If you are not participating, you do not have to reply to the starters tagged for the plot drop.
While the plot drop is based around drinking, it can be grounds for food, annoyance from noise or crowds and potential drama. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! We’ll make an announcement stating when the bar crawl is over. Feel free to continue current threads. This is not an event so it absolutely does not have to affect anything if you don’t want it to!
Be as creative as you want. Moodboards, aesthetics, gifs, self paras, photosets, Instagram, even threads with others! However you want to explore your character, you’re open to it. This particular task can be used well for an interview or a starter. Make sure you tag with seattask so members can browse the tags later. Tasks are not mandatory nor do they have a ‘due date’ so if you’re every feeling uninspired, pop into the tag to get your muse going. Tasks can be found on this page. If anyone ever has future suggestions, feel free to shoot me a message!
TASK TWO—
Would you rather be loved or feared and why? Do you want to fall in love? If you’d rather be feared, is the subject of love completely off the table?
Hello! I’d like to bring two points to everyone’s attention. Currently these are not extreme issues in the roleplay right now but seeing as I’m lurking on the dash at almost any given moment of the day, it’s something that I do see the beginning stages of. I’d like to say that it’s absolutely not tolerated and I do pay attention to it.
BUBBLE ROLEPLAYING—
By no means should anyone be bubble roleplaying. This is stated in the rules. If you feel like your only interest in logging on and participating in the dash is to reply to a partner, you may need to consider other places to take your character. There is always something to be replied to and other people to plot with. If you don’t have many threads going besides your partner, take the extra step to create them. This is something I’m going to cracking down on and will not be ignored.
STARTERS—
Our basic rule for starters is to respond to three in the tag before posting your own. Please try not to be selective about this. I know for some starters, your character may not even be the type to respond or you may feel like they’re difficult to reply to. Try to take it as a challenge and twist the situation! Could your character overhear something? Could it be taken out of context and be dramatic? Could your character misunderstand completely, allowing the starter to become something else? And as always, make sure you’re simply replying to starters and not letting anything get ignored. Inclusivity is extremely important to me and the group.
I ask that everyone look over the rules again as there are important pieces of information that I am strict on. I just haven’t had to take any measures, which is obviously a good thing! Also, please like this post if you’ve read it.
Hello all! Just wanted to make a quick note on a couple small things.
I had posted this in the ooc but I wanted to make an announcement on the main as well. When posting ask memes, make sure you’re tagging either ‘meme’ or ‘ask meme’ as well as the corresponding posts you receive. This way if the posts are long or people feel that the dash is being spammed, they can simply blacklist. I’m absolutely okay with these being posted - in fact, I love them. I just want to make sure they don’t cause any issues because some people can find them to be an annoyance.
Biographies for new characters will be coming tomorrow. I ended up being insanely busy at work today and then came home and just wanted to breathe. Thanks for bearing with me!
Friday is next acceptance and I’d love to see some new characters around. If you’ve been in the group for at least week and feel that you’re active enough to have a second character, you’re obviously welcome to apply!
Good afternoon! Thank you to everyone who participated in the plot drop. I’m going to have it come to a close starting today. Any threads that you have can be continued but just know that they’re obviously in the past. If you do plan on dropping threads from the plot drop, please make sure to let corresponding partners know.
I plan on doing frequent plot drops so if you ever have an idea for one you’d really enjoy, feel free to give me suggestions! I’m not planning for them to be as long next time - probably just a few days so there’s a lot of room for options.
Almost everyone knows that Seattle is home to heavy rainclouds and foggy skies. It’s all apart of the city’s charm, but as the saying goes, “When it rains, it pours.” For the past week, the city has been dealing with thunderstorms that are incredibly inconvenient. As of last night, a bolt of lightning has struck down power in different parts of the city. Both Northside and Capitol Hill have been extremely impacted by this.
The city is trying their best to restore power. However, it is unknown how long it could be out for. We ask that you take proper precautions. Local grocers are in stock with plenty of emergency supplies for everyone who has been affected. Aside from the power outages, there have been no reports of any extreme dangers. While this situation can be concerning, we assure you that everything will remain a-okay and we thank you for being patient.

We ask that if you are participating to tag any starters with seatplot01 and seatstarter. If you are not participating, you do not have to reply to the starters tagged for the plot drop. Do know that since this is situational, the rain does not come to a complete halt but we did narrow down the major affected areas. So, do with that as you wish!
The plot drop is extremely open to just about anything. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! We’ll make an announcement saying when the power is back on. Feel free to continue current threads. This is not an event so it absolutely does not have to affect anything if you don’t want it to!
Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful Valentine’s Day so far, whether you’re dating or not. We wanted to make a quick post to remind the lot of you of a few things regarding the rp.
First of all, our next acceptances will be taking place on Friday the 17th. All the members who were accepted on the first batch are allowed to apply for a second character if they wish to - just keep in mind our rules regarding gender and faceclaim of secondary characters.
After our next acceptance, we’ll be posting our very first plot drop which will surely provide with a chance to plot and explore your character with a bit more depth.
We also wanted to ask you all to reply to starters, to get interactions up and running is the very first step for roleplaying and there’s wonderful starters in the tag waiting to be answered!
Last but not least, we ask of all our members to be welcoming and inclusive. Send messages to your fellow roleplayers, get to know each other, get down to plotting.
Finally, enjoy yourselves and here’s to another week at Seattle, Washington!
Hello, hello! Seeing as the roleplay will have been opened for a week soon, we wanted to talk about secondary characters. In our rules, we simply stated that you have to wait a week until bringing in a second (or third) character so we can see if we feel you’re active enough to do so.
That being said, we are starting to allow members in the group to apply as a second character starting Tuesday, February 14th. This would be the members that got accepted in the first round. We’d also like to remind everyone that if you do pick up a second character, the third has to be the opposite cis gender or non-binary. (For example: If I’m playing two males, my third has to be female or non-binary.) So, take that into consideration when applying.
If you have any questions, we’ll be around to answer them!
