Summary: When Gina is sent off on a publicity tour for Romeo and Juliet, the East High Drama Club has to delay starting rehearsals for their spring musical… and instead is forced to put on a play in only 3 weeks! Will the Wildcats be able to pull together and make Pride & Prejudice a success?

“Benjamin!”
Mr. Mazzara didn’t even bother looking up from his grading as he casually inquired, “What now?”
“Oh, this is such a disaster!” his colleague blurted out as she scurried into his office and flopped down on a chair. “I simply don’t know what I’m going to do.”
“Please, have a seat,” he mumbled sarcastically under his breath.
She didn’t even seem to notice as she went on, pleading, “You have to help me, Benjamin!”
Mr. Mazzara heaved a heavy sigh as he set down his pen. His grading could wait; evidently his teaching peer could not.
“How may I help you, Jennifer?” he asked, looking up, momentarily disarmed by the sight of the beautiful woman now sitting in his office. He still wasn’t quite sure where the two of them stood. They’d had a fun time together in New Zealand, but now that they were back from the winter holidays, he wasn’t sure what, if any, sort of relationship she had in mind for the two of them.

“I needed to get out of the house. And I considered going to Ash's, but Gina's still there until her mom moves back to Salt Lake next week and I just -,” EJ shrugged, not explaining further since they both knew why that wasn't the best option.
“So you just decided to go all out and drive to your friend who lives furthest away, huh?” Seb teased carefully, hoping to lighten the mood.

[brushes off the dust] I have finally returned to write more seblos after months off being obsessed with Heartstopper! I hope I can still do them justice after so long! Just a warning, this is an episode coda to 3x07, and it does get into Carlos and body image issues. Nothing too intense, but if it's a sensitive topic for you, this might be a more difficult read! Take care of yourselves!
A cold winter morning, Seb and Carlos were asleep and cuddling in Seb’s bed. They were in their senior year at East High, but it was currently Christmas break, more precisely, in the week in between Christmas and New Years Eve. Carlos’ parents were in Mexico and with the two families having become surprisingly close over the last couple of years, they let Carlos stay with the Matthew-Smiths. And the Matthew-Smiths, trusted the boys to not do something they’ll regret when sharing a room.
As the clock struck 5, a familiar song could be heard, making the artist himself groan but his boyfriend smiled softly. It was his favourite song, of course he had it as an alarm.
“Turn it off…” Carlos muttered, hiding his face into Seb’s chest. The blonde laughed as he reached for his phone and turned it off.
“I love that song, thank you very much,” the sunshine boy told him teasingly. Carlos smiled into his pillow (yes, Seb’s chest) before looking up at him with tired eyes.
“I’m really happy you like it, but babe... it’s 5am. I need my beauty sleep,”
“I think you’re always beautiful, so I don’t really get it,” This comment made the brunette blush as he rolled his eyes.
“You little flirt,” He muttered, hiding his face again, making his boyfriend laugh.
“Only to you, my love,”
After a few more minutes, Seb spoke up again.
“As much as I’d love to stay and cuddle, I got chores to do,” He said softly to an already half-asleep Carlos.
“No.” He responded like a child, holding Seb closer.
“Carlooos, babyyy, I need to get up,” He teased. Carlos shook his head again and kept a strong grip.
Seb sighed before managing to basically fight himself out of bed. Carlos groaned even louder than before.
“It’s too cold! Come back!” He pouted as he wrapped the duvet around himself and looked up at his now standing boyfriend. Seb giggled before leaning over and giving him a little kiss.
“I’ll come back and cuddle you some more once I’m back, okay?” He teased.
“But you’ll be really cold then!”
“And just like yesterday, and last week, and last month… and last year, you’ll warm me up again,” The farmer boy said softly, making his boyfriend smile softly himself.
“... Yeah, I will.”
Seb smiled and gave him another kiss before hurrying over to get dressed (yes, Carlos did check him out as he swapped t-shirts so his favourite pj’s shirt (which actually belonged to Carlos) didn’t get dirty. No one can blame him. Seb is his boyfriend. He just so happened to have been shirtless for a quick second which might’ve been one of Carlos’ highlights of the cold morning).
Before going out though, he gave his boyfriend yet another kiss. “I love you,”
“I love you more, farmer boy. Now hurry up and come back to me,” Carlos teased. Seb giggled, gave him a final kiss and ran out to help his family. They knew that the future Matthew-Smith did not work well in the mornings, and let him rest.
okay so my hc is that Seb has had a crush on Carlos since 7th grade and never really liked anyone else. He tried to be attracted to people other than him but it would always come back to Carlos
Then one day at the end of 9th grade Carlos is paired with some random blonde farmer kid (who he thinks is rly rly pretty) who he’s seen around school a few times for a project
It’s for a history end of year project where they have to create a fake tv show episode about the civil war
When Seb find out that this Carlos is the same as the Carlos from the video he gets realllly reallly nervous
Cause Carlos has really pretty eyes and is very funny and very very attractive and he makes Seb feel really happy about himself and they just both have a lot in common
But he won’t let his crush get in the way of the project

So for the project they decide to do a musical episode and they both have a lot of fun making it
And they’re very awkward and giggly and they both blush a lot
When they’re about to present the project Carlos gets really nervous cause he has slight social anxiety and just doesn’t like talking about school subjects in front of other ppl cause it’s not his strong suit
And then Seb gets a little nervous too cause what if he’s not smart enough and what if Carlos stops talking to him after this
But then Seb sees that Carlos is nervous
Carlos as in his crush for a year (and three months) who he looks up too and thinks is the smartest and most kind person he’s ever met, gets really nervous
And Seb thinks it’s adorable
Seb calms Carlos down by saying ‘just pretend it’s a performance. You’re really good at those.’
And Seb is worried that Carlos thinks he’s making fun of him but he’s not
And Carlos just looks at him for a second
And it’s one of those love at first sight moments where it’s like oh I’ve been looking for you forever (very Klaine esque you know what I’m saying?)
And then they present but it’s just Carlos looking at Seb the entire time and Seb trying to avoid eye contact so he doesn’t get lost in Carlos’s eyes
They get a B.
Points off for being distracted during presentation.
