Sometimes you have gay cowboys, and sometimes you have gay divorced cowboys.

People assume Sebryn is an outlaw ( and he sort of is ) because he Looks Like One but he really just wants to brush all the horses and give them pats on the nose.

Often seen glowering inside the saloon but only because he's still in love with his ex husband, the bar keep (also the sheriff, but it's a chill town) who makes a fantastic vegetable stew (and who also always gives him extra carrots for the horses)

So I’ve decided to redo all of my characters since they dont have a character page as of yet and why not.

First of all is Sebryn the raven druid, who hasn’t really had a concrete backstory outside of ‘mystery isolated loner’ and ‘when will birb son return from war.’ Despite that he’s a fav of mine, so guess now is the time to give him a proper story.

First of all, for story reasons Sebryn is now the oldest of my salads - as of the end of HoT he is 23 years old. (That being said, he’s not involved in any of the HoT jungle business)

Secondly, he’ll be my first Soundless. It just kinda fits with his character and i’d previously debated with the idea, but now its certain. He spends all his time exploring the Shiverpeaks and the charr lands with his birds.

The reason why i’ve given Sebryn this new age is so that he can have a childhood friend. At age 4 he is not yet Soundless but is exploring the world, and arrives in Hoelbrak to rest up and trade. He wants to learn about the animal spirits and their connection to the Norn, particularly Raven as he had always thought his pet ravens were intelligent. At this point i guess the Sylvari have revealed themselves as independent race and the norn are still a little curious but nevertheless accepting. Either way, he’s in the main hall and overhears a loud group of norn gushing merrily over a baby, which gets him interested. I mean as a guy who emerged fully grown from a pod, anything born in this way is intriguing? Anyway the norn group spot him and pull him over to look at the baby, who turns out to be 3 years old and already pretty huge compared to Seb. He gets to hold the child and gets talking with the father, and before long gets rather attached to the family - who are amazed that he is only a year older than their son.

Sebryn becomes Soundless for real and tries to go travelling again but ultimately lingers around Wayfarer Hills, visiting the family ever so often. That is, until he decides to settle down for a while in Hoelbrak. He and the norn child become close friends, and as the child grows up he begins to dwarf Seb rather quickly. Now, as they have grown up together and are 24 and 23 respectively, Seb and the norn are travelling the world.
