Vacation in Stockholm? | Sebstrade Drabble
I should preface this with "I just found this in an old notebook", I honestly don't remember writing it, but it looks to be my handwriting so I'm going to go with yes. It's not quality. Actually, it's very much just crack. Bad crack. That is all.

"He's kidnapped you!" Donovan's syncopated consonants clipped across the telephone line as Greg tucked the device between his ear and shoulder.
"At gunpoint." Donovan affirmed, as if it weren't obvious to the Inspector.
"He does that from time to time." Greg drawled as he picked up the remote and idly flipped through the channels, the volume muted so as not to interfere with the call.
"H-He what?!" The shrill tone caused Greg to jerk his head back away from the receiver and sigh.
"Donovan, it's fine, I'll deal with him."
"Sir, Are you out of your mind?!How exactly will you deal with it?" Possibly, Greg mused quietly.
"Oh, I can think of a few ways."
"Have you been Stockholmed? You've only been missing for a few hours."
"Two years, half of that time we've lived together."
"You've been living together?!?" Greg held the mobile at arms length upon hearing the woman screeching.
"The key is to separate work and home, otherwise it goes to pot." It occurred in the back of his mind, as the line fell silent that perhaps he shouldn't be so nonchalant about this.
"Would you prefer I lied?"
"He. Kidnapped. You." Again, there was emphasis in her words.
"Donovan, I'm fine, you can call off the dogs- Oh, hello Finley, go eat your breakfast."
"Sir, are you at home with him?"
"Mmmm. Perhaps, but I warn you, If you or a team come here, you won't like what you stumble in on. I'm not putting trousers on for people who invade my home."
"Sir!-" Donovan was about to launch into another verbal assault but Greg cut her off.
"It's my holiday, I'll spend it as I like."
"He's an internationally-wanted criminal!"
"And a damn good shag. Good-bye Donovan, I'll see you Monday morning!"
