sorry Iâm a piece of shit that goes AWOL. Itâs been a busy summer. I put out a few replies. Iâll post a starter call later.
â â So come out.                 You have been waiting long enough.                 Youâre done with all thetalk-talk-talk
With nothing on the TABLE. â
britishnation:
Seized by genuine astonishment, Mycroftâs forehead pulls into a minute frown as he takes in the man before him - quite frankly rendered a frightful appearance on behalf of a combination of severe lack of sleep, the age-old restlessness of nicotine, and -  not least - the mental pressure exerted by the adoring publicâs demand for quick and effortless success. The dire need for a warm meal and a proper shave has always been civilityâs greatest enemy, and thus, Mycroft decides to let the inherent harshness of the DIâs words slip seemingly without a care.       â And yet, I cannot help but notice that the summoning, though inappropriate, has been most effective. â There is the short-lived hint of a smile and the briefest moment of contemplation before he rises from his chair and, producing two finely-carved glasses from the cabinet by the window, proceeds to pour his involuntary guest a drink. Brandy never fails to ease the way into a conversation of personal importance - and these days, alcohol seems to have become an obligation whenever family matters are concerned. â I assure you that nothing could not be further from my mind than to treat you with discourtesy. I have, after all, chosen to forgo any empty warehouses or eerily-lit alleyways. âÂ
â â Yeah, well. Sânot like I had much choice in the matter. Menacing CCTV cameras turning away, quiet streets and sizable drivers that frankly, I donât think driving is among the top of their skill sets. â Heâs really not afraid of Mycroft Holmes. At one point in time, perhaps, but Greg is an older man now, one who can size up a bloke by the way he moves and how he addresses others. Itâs something that the Holmes brothers constantly underestimate in him. In any case, heâs learned that Mycroft respects a little push back when itâs not done with bravado. Gregâs not an narcissistic man but heâs also not going to be pushed about where these two are involved. His eyes fall on the crystal and they roll to the side. Heâs already huffing and his hands itch for a cigarette. Greg is tempted to take the offer of the Brandy.
â â Whatâs he gone and done this time? â
notelementary:
Sherlock tried really hard not to smile.
âItâs not alarming. I wouldâŚ", he paused while looking at Gregâs motorbike with a mix of respect, interest and some kind of  jealousy. âThe truth is, I would really like to have a motorbike too.â
He finally smiled when he recalled the amount of quarrels he had with his parents about owning a motorbike.
âAs John would say â Iâm jealous, thatâs all. But also quite surprised I didnât deduce that.â, he said an pointed out at Gregâs machine.
âAny chance you would let me ride it one day?â
Gregâs brows reach towards his hairline in surprise. Sherlock interested in the motorcycle, even more unexpected, is the admittance of envy. A smile moves across his features slowly, curling into the corner of his mouth. â â Get your license and weâll talk. â
losingsiide:
â oh, please, lestrade, i am not high. â
his words carry how insulted he feels by the accusation, but heâs been pacing around the crime scene for the past five minutes nonstop.
     â iâm buzzed. â
â â So youâve been drinking? Oh, thatâs much better. â Sarcasm thick in his voice. â Can you give me anything so we can get you out of here to....dry up. â
bakerstreetsconsultingsociopath:
âItâs not my fault you make yourself so easy to read,â Sherlock replied, before walking out the door behind Lestrade. âThis better be more than a 7, Garrett.â
â â There is such a thing as keeping your deductions to yourself when they donât pertain to the case, Sherlock. â Greg gestures to the car. â Retain my name in your memory or you may find yourself without cases. âÂ

âActually, Iâm not here for a tour. But it seems I am in the right place. I am looking for a detective inspector in the homicide unit. I have a message for him.â
â â One in particular? Or just any of us? Thereâs about a dozen in this office. â Greg glances back at the hallway, wondering how this girl managed to get this far in the building without escort but knows itâs not entirely without reason when the Holmesâ are involved.Â
@watsonofagun liked for a starter.
â â Iâm going to kill him. â Greg is drenched from head to toe, soaked by the Thames, looking more like a wet dog than formidable police officer.
@vxctorx liked this for a starter.
â â I think you left this on the counter, mate. â He taps the man on the shoulder, after weaving through the morning coffee crowd, holding the wallet aloft. â Donât want to be running âround leaving this somewhere. The wrong sort of person might snatch it.â
@losingsiide liked this for a starter.
â â Are you high? We had an agreement Sherlock. You werenât supposed to be using during a case. â
@notelementary liked this for a starter.
â â How have you not deduced that I own motorbike? â Asked incredulously as he stands there in black riding leathers, helmet tucked under his arm. â Why is this so alarming to you? â
@bakerstreetsconsultingsociopath liked this for a starter.
â â As much as I would adore recounting the details of my escapades last night to you as penance for you publicly deducing them for all to hear, we have a case, come on.â
@theholmesalone liked this for a starter.
â â If youâre looking for the tour, I think they went âround the corner to the SC and O19 unit down the hall...This is Hommocide, tour doesnât come here...for obvious reasons. Itâs a bit gruesome. â
@xsherlockxholmes liked this for a starter.
â â While I am, without a doubt, IMMENSELY relieved you have saw fit to knock, instead of breaking into my flat. Why did it have to be at four in the morning? There is nothing on. â
