New Posy toon just dropped- say hi to Ottaline the orange!
Gameplay-wise, Ottaline is basically the Rodger of Posy, in the sense that you get doubled Decayed toon research from picking up notes while playing as her-
BUT instead of playing as a jagged detective, your playing as a small child who just wants to help her older brother with his important work lol-
Also yes Ottaline is a CHILD, one of TWO currently among the cast for clarification so don’t be weird about her.))))
Also EXTRA FACT: while not mentioned in her bio, Ottaline is dyslexic, and often struggles with reading as you can guess.

[ This talkative young toon has a LOT of questions about the world!
Like- where did all the dinosaurs go-? Or why do some foods like carrots grow in the ground while apples and oranges grow on trees-? Or how does Cakelyn always somehow manage to set food on fire-? Or- well- you get the point-
While most toons may find these endless questions annoying, you can count on her big brother Anthony to answer any questions she asks! …..long as he can find the right book for the answer…… ]
Sooooo- you know how the shop keepers in DW all have gossip dialog and that-? Wellllllll-
I thought it’d be fun to write some for Second-cast’s Halloween main Trick given he’s also probably run an event shop!
Sooooo- uhhhhhhhhh- enjoy I guess lol- (text is under cut cause this post is a LONG one):
Entering shop:
“BOO-!!!! Heheh- did I get you-? I hope I did!!!”
“Happy Halloween!!!”
“Hello!!! Hi!!! Welcome!!! Have a look around!!!”
Buying costume:
“Oh!!! That costume’s a good one!!!! I’m sure you’ll get LOTS of candy in that!!!!”
“Getting dressed up-? Now- that’s the spirit!!!”
Buying toons:
“Oh! You want Coraline-? Ok!!! Just- don’t let her push you around too much- ok-? She can be a lil mean at times……….”
“Oh! I’d be careful with Skitter there! DO NOT TOUCH his candy ok-? Wouldn’t wanna get bit! That would be a NASTY trick!!”
“Oh!!!! You want me to help you out-!!!??? Wow- um- THANK YOU!!!!! I’ll do my best, pinky promise on that!!!”
Trick gossip dialog:
“Did you know I glow in the dark-!!!!!
Yeah!!! I have a lil light in me that helps me light up! Like- an actual real jack-o’-lantern!
It’s real useful when the lights go out on floors as it can help me see really really REALLY WELL!!!!
Honestly-
I don’t get why the other toons worry about me so much on those floors, I mean- like- THEIR the ones always bumping into stuff heheh-“
“Trick or treating is my FAVOURITE part of Halloween!!!!
Sure the other stuff is great too- but trick or treating is so much fun!!! Well- I mean- I’ve never really got to do it- least properly I mean-
I used to help the staff give out candy to trick or treaters on Halloween, which was really really FUN!! Especially with all their cool costumes!!!!
But-
I was never allowed to go out and run to different houses myself for candy……..and…I guess it’s too late for that now…….since the place is…y’know…….”
“Do you know Holly-??? Because she’s a GREAT toon!!!!!
I mean- noodle is nice as well- but Holly knows all these fun crafts and can draw a LOT of cool stuff!!!!
One time we ran out of paper, and Me and Ottaline got worried we wouldn’t be able to draw anymore
but Holly taught us how to make NEW PAPER from old boring documents in the office, I don’t fully remember how she did it, but it was really really fun!!!
And I mean-…at least she actually lets me help do stuff around here as well……”

I don’t know if we really are friends….i mean- the staff always said we were but she’s kinda mean to me-
Like- I like competing with her! I really do!!! But-…….
if I don’t wanna then she starts calling me names, saying mean things about me and acting all huffy until I say yes!
Like- that’s bullying, right-? Friends don’t do that…do they-? Holly and Noodle say they don’t! So is it….?”
“I wouldn’t try to take Skitter’s candy if I were you……
I mean, I tried once!!! Well- not on purpose- I didn’t know it was Skitter-
I thought it was one of the buckets made to look like them…like- the ones they used to sell in the gift shop!!!
So- I tried reaching my hand over for some candy and- you know what they did-? THEY BIT ME!!! RIGHT ON THE HAND!!!
It hurt a BUNCH….but- at the least their not a poisonous Spider or that’d be really really bad-

It’s about Nora and dove……
They’re the Christmas and valentines mains but I don’t think they get along……
I mean Dove is normally really nice, but- she starts acting funny around Nora……
And once!!! Or- maybe a few times, I SWEAR I’ve heard them arguing with eachother!!!! Pinky promise!!!
Dove and Cottentail say everything’s fine but…i think they’re lying to me…and- that makes me feel kinda mad-
Because I’m a main too-? Right-? I should know this stuff- or at least I feel like I should-
