News and Updates:

The Family Law is currently airing its second season (episode 3 aired today), and, hopefully, chances for renewal are pretty bright. Watch episodes here.

Kim’s Convenience is currently shooting its second season, premiere is likely to be scheduled for October.

Ronny Chieng: International Student is currently airing its first season (episodes on demand are available here). Later this year the show will be available for the US viewers on Comedy Central.

Second Jen – sadly, seems like this Canadian series won’t have more than six episodes. City has yet to announce about renewal or cancellation, but considering that it didn’t have as much press and critical acclaim as KC, and that the channel has pulled the episodes from their site, things look gloomy for this show... (Renewed by OMNI for s2)

Blood and Water – second block of the show closed the central detective arc with the Xie family, but left the viewers with a major cliffhanger concerning the main character Jo Bradley. OMNI has yet to renew or cancel the show, but at least all episodes are still available on demand. 

John Cho and Lucy Liu will have recurring roles in the upcoming 3 season of Difficult People which premieres August 8 on Hulu.

Lucy Liu will take on the role of Veronica, a morally corrupt, taste-challenged and highly successful alpha female. 

John Cho will play a LGBT character named Todd, Billy's boyfriend.
