Guys am I the only one having like WAY too much trouble with the pacing and dialogue in a lot of current movies. I literally hate second screen media so much. I honestly really like a lot of these movies but it's like overwhelmingly distracting for me and I hate to be a downer when watching movies with my family but like it really messes me up. I already tended to like slower media than most people but now it's like they have to pack scenes together so tight I'm just completely out of it. Again with a lot of these movies I really like them as a whole but I just have trouble enjoying the act of watching them because of pacing and dialogue specifically.

I don’t need the plot to be restated in dialogue! If it’s interesting then I will give it my full attention, I will rewatch, rewind, discuss, theorise. I will ENGAGE with the media.
