First off, BLESS YOU for being my first request! I don’t know why people are so shy! I am so surprised that the first request is Yugi, too; I’m glad you said him and not Yami Yugi, because our little golden boy definitely needs more love.

And while I am okay writing NSFW works, is it still allowed? Guess I’ll find out! I don’t really know what is and isn’t okay on this website anymore, haha. I hope these are alright!

This boy is so pure and so full of love! Dating Yugi will be romantic and intimate. You definitely would have had to be friends first, and romantic feelings would develop over time.

A relationship would most likely begin post DM, pre DSOD, if we’re keeping with the canon. Yugi could possibly have feelings for you during DM, but he’s got so much on his mind and going on in his life to focus. That, and the events taking place during this time have already put his family and friends in danger - the last thing he’d want to do is get a romantic partner involved in all this, as well! Plus, it gives him time to mature and work on his self-confidence, so the timing will be perfect after DM takes place.

Though he’s not shy to hold your hand and call you cute pet names in public, extreme PDA like having an extreme makeout is off the table. You can kiss eachother quickly and he’ll be alright with it, though flustered, but any more than that is a big no.

The two of you will spend some free time trying out new games neither of you have played before! Since he’s so good, you’d probably get tired of him kicking your ass (though sometimes he will let you win, just because you’re so cute when you get excited!) he prefers co-op games where he can work together with you, instead of against you.

He likes going on fun dates, at least once a week or two. Anything comfortable and more intimate where he can spend quality time with you, but where you can actually do something; he doesn’t like movie dates because you don’t get to talk to eachother, and he doesn’t like fancy dinner dates because he finds them too awkward (but he’s up for casual trips to small family-owned places).

Yugi is very in tune with his emotions, and can be very sensitive at times. He’s happy just spending time with you and sharing stories, worries, hopes for the future; planning out your lives together. Communicating with him is always easy and he doesn’t like any major secrets. He’ll always be open with you and hopes you’ll be the same way.

Very respectful towards your family! He likes going on day trips with your family, or taking you out with his. He’s a people person and very likable, and your family’s approval of him is very important. 

Even if he’s away on some professional dueling business, he’ll always ask if you’d like to come along with him. If you can’t, expect voice/video calls every night, and random flowers sent to your home/place of work with cute little cards saying how much he misses you.

He’s the type to like picking up small gifts for you; even if it’s nothing amazing, if something reminds him of you, he’ll grab it. He just likes to see you smile.

Your happiness is his, and as I mentioned earlier, he’s very empathetic. If something’s upsetting you, he can sense it immediately and he knows how to act. All he asks is if there’s anything he can do for you, and if you say no, he will simply hold you close and let you know that you’re safe with him.

Yugi is a very protective boyfriend, and very observant. Though he trusts you immensely, self-doubt and insecurities can creep up on him at times. He knows you love him, but sometimes he needs a little extra reassurance.

Listen, he ain’t all that innocent, alright? I headcanon him as having a normal to slightly above average sex drive, and bisexual. He’s seen the magazines, he’s browsed the internet quite a bit, so he knows what he’s doing.

Well, sort of. 

Watching is one thing and experience is another. I can’t see him being the type to like casual sex in the least, only with people he sees potential with. Yugi won’t date anyone unless he thinks it’ll really work, so his relationships will be at minimum, a year, but he always aims for longer.

Because of this he doesn’t have much hands-on (haha) experience, but he tries his best to apply what he’s seen in magazines and online to real life.

Sex is awkward, you can’t deny that, but he tries to acknowledge embarrassing things and address it, rather than avoid it. To him, if you pretend something weird didnt happen, that makes it so much worse than just talking about it.

So he’s very open-minded and very sex-positive, but still shy.

Will probably freeze up if he sees any bare part of you; he’ll blush and try to be confident but he can’t stop talking about how beautiful you are. 

Is constantly asking if you like what he’s doing, if you’re okay, or if he’s hurting you. This dies down over time, the more he gets used to you.

Is vanilla at first, but is very kinky and can’t wait til you’re both comfortable enough with eachother to get there.

He can intricately tie you up in all these fancy ways (seriously how-)

OH MY GOSH DANG!! I just wanna say I absolutely love you for making that Pathfinder Gaara art!! He would make such a natural pathfinder and inspire others to keep hope while they try to make the hostile galaxy their own. I haven't finished ME Andromeda yet but I would love to hear some thoughts/headcanons you have about this crossover <33

AHHHH I’m so glad that you love the idea of this AU as well!!!! I’m more than happy to share some thoughts although I’m going to try and make sure I don’t spoil anything for you bwaha

So here are some of the ideas I had for the AU, pfttt its such a mess and I’m still torn between a lot of things but here we go lol

So in in this AU each of the villages are on their own ARK as part of the Andromeda Initiative (same premise as the game), and I loved the idea of Jinchuriki’s being Pathfinders and their tailed beasts being their “SAM” (so Gaara’s SAM is called SHUKAKU, Naruto’s is KURAMA, etc.)

Naruto’s side of the AU:

Naruto received his “SAM” implant at a younger age than is expected of a Pathfinder (he was 18 i’m thinking?? Cause I cant imagine child Pathfinder’s bwhaha)

His story is going to parallel Ryder’s story from the game, so his parents were researching AI and advancing their given version of their “SAM” (so this changes Naruto’s story quite a bit, his parents didn’t die when he was born, however because they were so involved with their work he still had a pretty lonely childhood and caused trouble just like in the original series)

His dad is successful in creating a stronger and more advanced “SAM” than ones given to other ARKs, and the implant was given to Kushina who is Konoha’s Pathfinder 

I’m still fuzzy on the details here but basically the three of them are on a planet that was in the making of being habitable (it was thought to be semi-safe which is why Naruto is with them) when Something goes wrong and theres some sort of attack which fatally wounds his parents, Kushina transfers KURAMA over right before dying, making Naruto the new Pathfinder

Everyone on the Ark treated Naruto like shit because they were afraid of the power of AI, especially in the hands of a teenager, after all, Pathfinder Uzumaki could barely control it so how could this boy, they would always talk shit about wasted Pathfinder talent

After about 2 years of doing a good job at Pathfinding things and fighting Kett he starts gaining respect from his village

some random headcanons: 

Shikamaru will be his Second in Command

OR Shikamaru takes Bradley’s roll and Rock Lee is Second in Command

cause @jazthespazz totally tripped me up with Pathfinder Rock Lee who has no biotic power which would be fantastic cause he would totally kick ass as a Pathfinder!!!!

and still playing with the idea, but it would be cool if Naruto was able to do what Alec did for Cora in the novel and give Lee a piece of KURAMA (which would also be similar to in Naruto where he shares his powers in the final battle yeah??)

Sasuke…..okay so ive been kinda playing with the idea that the Uchiha Clan are like the Asari??? born with powerful biotic abilities???

Tsunade will be the head figure running the Ark

Gaara’s side of the AU:

So in this universe I super imagined the Sand Village being treated similar to how the Krogan are in ME. There was a rebellion or battle of some sort that caused their Ark to split from the Initiative, thus cutting them off from having access to Pathfinder AI technology

Gaara’s father is furious about it and devises a plan to steal information from the Initiative in order to create his own version of a SAM implant and because he’s a bag of dicks he experimented on Gaara

In order to enhance Gaara’s biotic abilities so that he’ll be prepared to handle having an implant, he uses a biotic enhancing drug called Red Sand (pfttt when I found out that that was an actual Thing in the ME universe I couldn’t resist fitting it into the story)

The drug is the reason behind his mental instability and being a crazy kiddo

For a few reasons (i cant decide which or maybe even all?) the implant does not agree with Gaara:

1) it’s built off stolen blueprints/instructions which may not even have been fully developed, 

2) well I mean, it is crappy knock-off SAM lol, 

3) SAM needs to be connected to the main Node to be fully functional??, and/or

4) because of all the Red Sand in his system it couldn’t properly “instal”

So now he’s even stronger and still raging like he did in Naruto

Until he runs into Naruto and Pals down on a planet~

And I don’t really have a fixed idea for this but basically they duke it out in a huge battle, and Naruto, with the help of KURAMA, is able to fix the problem (KURAMA maybe syncs Gaara’s implant or something??? Or gives it an update pftshs)

So Gaara finally calms the fuck down, and spends the next few years helping settle his village on a habitable planet

He’s the first Pathfinder to completely stabilize a planet and makes it a Home planet for his village, they welcome other Arks peacefully, and help whenever another village requires it

Temari is Gaara’s Second in Command

So yeah….that’s some of what I thought up for the AU, I have some more ideas but they’re scattered anD SPOILERS!!  There’s some stuff that happens closer to the end of the game that I have a great idea for bwhaha

this one was really hard to choose, because i personally believe dialogue isn't my strongest, but my narration, but i really like this scene/dialogue in particular just because it was really fun writing jigen being spiteful and angry.

i don't think there are many fics out there that have jigen being cold or considering the reader/oc an enemy or distraction, so whenever i get the chance to write jigen and the protagonist in opposite sides of an argument (or conflict), it's really fun.

H: How would you describe your style?

hmm, well, lately i have been kind of experimenting writing more abruptly or straight to the point, but i used to have a flowery writing style, i believe. even now, i tend to go back at it, especially in parts where i want the fic to hit the reader harder. it really depends on the story i'm working on!

S: Any fandom tropes you can't resist?

well, funnily enough, you mentioned "enemies to lovers" not being your cup of tea, but it's one of my favorite tropes if done well or done in a way that feels authentic and realistic for the two characters. i also really like slow burn (now, that makes a huge difference in "enemies to lovers") and tropes related to time travel or multiverses (it's my absolute guilty pleasure, ever since i was a kid, so you can only imagine how i felt with the spiderverses movies or shows like steins;gate)!
