Yes hello I finished Caledon with Lei and just like taking pics of this kid too much. I need to find some different should guards for her tho.

Also debating if she would wear the wreathe just for fancier occasions. 

Forgot to mention in the last post that she’s a Secondborn, and is actually 27 at this point - so older then Terra by about 20 years!

I’m really lazy and was just going to ask you in discord to do the character asks for Leilani buuut I changed my mind and am sending this ask for it

Hiiiiiii ♥ Ok lets do this! Haha1: List five basic facts about your OC.

-Leilani is a Cycle of Night Sylvari, so she’s usually quieter/more secretive

-she’s an intelligence officer/occasion spy for the Pact

-she fled the Pact before the Fleet left for Maguuma because Mordremoth’s whispers terrified her

-she’s a Daredevil that prefers dual-daggers

-She is Soundless, and practices meditation everyday to distance herself from the Pale Tree and the Dream.

2: Post a line of dialogue from your OC.

“I can maintain the meditation myself. You have enough warriors now that you can protect yourselves without my help.” Lei gets right in her face then, fangs bared, “I am leaving, Eona - and we will all be much better off. Excuse me.”

3: Post a snippet from your writing that describes your OC....I don’t seem to write proper descriptions of my characters much these days hahaha oooooops.

4: Post a snippet from your writing in which another OC describes your OC.I also don’t think I’ve written any of Eskel or anyone else describing her?? And I don’t want to steal from your fics hehe ;P 

5: Describe your OC’s physical appearance.

Leilani is a dusk-coloured Sylvari with dark, fern like hair and a bright teal glow - her eyes shift between blue and mint. She’s curvy, for a Sylvari, and has short but pointed ears. She tends towards darker, form fitting clothing - the better to be inconspicuous and hide better in the shadows. As of moving in with Eskel (hehe) she’s swapped to more Norn-like clothing, except for during missions.

6: Describe your OC’s love life.

Originally non-existent, as close relationships were never something she’d managed to attain/hold on to in her early years. Then she stumbled into the Shiverpeaks and met Eskel - and, well, she’s fallen pretty hard for the good hearted Norn, though it takes quite a while for her to say anything.

7: Describe your OC’s fashion sense.

Dark coloured clothing, usually form fitting. Always meant to blend in with her current surroundings - Sylvari-esque while in the Grove and Caldeon, switched for Pact attire during missions. Currently very keen to wear whatever her Norn fam feels like throwing at her.

8: Describe one of your OC’s bad habits.

A bit of a pessimist - she was one of the Secondborn almost captured by Asura to be experimented on. Has a bit of a hard time trusting people, so she looks for ulterior motives in just about everything. Gets better after spending time with Eskel and the kids because... there’s not a mean bone in their bodies...?

9: Your OC is having a nightmare. What is it?

Mordremoth’s voice, 100%. The whispers getting to her, someone loved dying at her hands. Whenever they eventually share a bed - be it briefly, or over night - Eskel probably catches her tossing, quite often.

10: You are conducting a ritual. What 5 items would you need to summon your OC?

-A pair of fancy daggers

-a Loaf of fresh baked bread

-Either a pile of desert sand or an owls feather

-a fuzzy blanket

-a song - specifically, something from Sylvari Culture

11: What does your OC want for their birthday?

Some alone time with Eskel, maybe. Or even a trip to The Grove to see Nettle, with the whole fam, and then some alone time with Eskel haha.

12: What does your OC give another OC for their birthday?

That which she can acquire - she is a theif, and she’s good at sleuthing. Can’t say she’s never stolen anything, though it’s never done with ill-intentions.

13: Describe your OC’s living situation.

Going to go with ‘current’ haha. She’s become an all but permanent house guest at Eskel’s homestead - she starts off sleeping on the couch, eventually moves into her own room, and then... probably shares Eskel’s room and bed with him, once they’re together and the twins have been informed.

14: What is one of your OC’s secrets?

Right at the moment? Eskel doesn’t know about the whole ‘fleeing the Pact cause of Mordremoth’ thing so oops :x

15: Your OC is given the chance to go back in time. Where do they go and what do they do?

That is.... very hard to say. Because long-term, she doesn’t regret fleeing the Pact - if she had gone, she’d have been turned, simple as that. She might go back and try to warn others, though - Nettle, and maybe Trahearne, and the Commander - but otherwise...

16: If your OC could have any superpower, which would it be and why?

Probably simply to heal wounds - her own and others.

17: How does your OC do during the zombie apocalypse?

She’s on the front line jumping over zombies and taking off their heads, what do you think? :P

18: What is your OC’s dream job?

Being a Pact sleuth kind of is her dream job - but she’s enjoying being around to cook and support the Norn fam, now, too.

19: Your OC’s life is a musical. What’s the title of their big show-stopping song?

Probably something like Left my Pact Behind, Found Love Instead or something cheesy like that ;P
