Being part of a crew that had a strong focus on medicine and hen she’d seen the shirtless man pass out in his food, of course Ikkaku’s first instinct was to rush over and make sure he wasn’t choking. Admittedly, she’d already been watching him, admiring the beautiful coloration in his tattoo, trying to figure out exactly where she’d seen it before, when he’d collapsed quite unexpectedly.
Still, that didn’t mean she wasn’t a little embarrassed when it turned out that he’d just been sleeping. “Sorry,” she said a little bashfully, red tinging her cheeks. “I’m Ikkaku. I guess I overreacted a bit. I hope I didn’t crack any of your ribs.” She knew she was strong for her size, considering how she had to lift a lot of heavy metal equipment and tools. When it came to stuff like this, she didn’t exactly have a delicate touch.
Well, at least this Ace character seemed just as embarrassed as she was, so she figured she’d break the ice a little for both of them. “Hey, at least I tried the Heimlich instead of CPR, right?” she joked.
