One last photo of my “second father” taken, this time, in Arizona at ruin not far from Tuba City at Wupatki National Monument. There are so many sites the ancient Puebloan People left behind as reminders of their civilizations. Here’s a wonderful photo of my “second father” on his way down from an extinct volcano at “Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano,” a tourist attraction not far from El Morro. The ice cave is a relatively short cave in which ice is preserved for most of the year. Here’s my “second father” again this time checking out the ruins on the top of El Morro National Monument in New Mexico. This monument has petroglyphs and signatures from Spanish Conquistadors and older Anglo settlers. On the top, as seen here, is what remains of an Ancient Puebloans settlement. This was one of the sweetest most wonderful men I’ve ever known. He was my then partner’s father. He went on a trip to the Southwest with Greg and I in 1993 and was such a wonderful travel companion. I’ve always considered him a second father . Unfortunately he died a few years ago but I still miss him. This is an overlook. Happy Heaven Birthday to this fella. I couldn’t have imagined a more loving stepfather. He was there for us when he didn’t have to be, and he stepped in when I truly needed him most. I will forever be thankful for my second father, David Bost. We miss him dearly, but are beyond thankful that he was in our lives. I hope Aunt Donna is teasing you about how old you are!
