Frightfest

Christians, in my opinion, have way too much fun scaring the living shit out of people & themselves. Either we're telling people to fear everything cause "everything is pure Satan" or we're telling people to chill out cause everything's gravy. There's this video that was linked on Facebook & it basically states that comic book heroes are bad cause they emulate gods & steer society in the wrong direction. Comic books? Really? Shove a bottle down my throat & make me gag. Let's spend our time, resources, & credibility informing the public that superheroes are a product of Satan. Stupidity at its finest. That's what so many Christians do best though. We launch crusades against the most mundane things & hope, by scaring the living shit out of someone, that they'll do a 180 and head back to sweet safe home. Excuse me when I say, Christians can drive me up the wall sometimes. Which is sad cause I would consider myself one. But when I see shit like this I really begin to second guess... If this is what we're sending out, then we deserve to be laughed at. We deserve to not be taken seriously. This is such a joke & it's beginning to wear on me. You want people to listen to you? Stop jumping down peoples throats & filling them with senselessness. Spend more time fighting the real battle & less time spreading fear like the weapon of choice.
