Today I went to the Auckland City Library to look for some information for the St James Theatre, one of the librarians showed me this blog, which I thought was really interesting http://heritageetal.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/st-james-theatre.html

Friday night, Oliver, Gina and I went to the O’Week Concert with, Black Seeds, David Dallas and KatchaFire playing Which is where we decided to use the Vyclone app to see how the app worked. We made two recordings because the first video, Gina for some reason her app didn’t connect with Ollie and I, so the first recording was a bit of a bust. I wanted to do a second recording though because halfway through I realised my finger was over the mic. So we did a second recording and Gina’s app worked this time, so all three of us recorded. But the next day, I looked on the app and in the second recording it was only Gina and I in the recording. Luckily it was just because Ollie accidently somehow paused his upload. So when that finished uploading, his angle just was added to the video, which was great. Unfortunately the quality isn’t amazing. But it was still great to experiment with the app. Video One, With Ollie and Myself http://vyclone.com/movie/5502b429d449ae0b06000016 Video Two, All three of us http://vyclone.com/movie/550528480fbd90ed0500009d
Cyclone Pam
I just thought that the way they have expressed the Cyclone on this site, is rather mesmerizing... http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-189.89,-27.50,1003
TagBoard
Last week, we were told to make a vine and use the hashtag #Moco360 when we uploaded it. After everyone had uploaded their vine, Laurant then had them up on the projector using tagboard. Which basically lets you type in whatever hashtag and it will find the hashtags from all social media websites. Which saves time searching and if you do a group project you can organise a hashtag to make it easier to see what everyone else has done...

Place
These last two weeks I've been researching the definition/meaning of Place.
We have been using google+ to post our research and findings. We have also been using a handful of apps Bambuser, Vine and Vyclone
Also we have or should have accounts to, Google+, Twitter, Youtube, Asana, Vimeo and SoundCloud, as well as the three apps I mentioned above. We also need to use a website/app called WikiTube. This is the description the website gives, “Wikitude’s all-in-one AR solution includes image recognition & tracking, 3D model rendering, video overlay, location based AR and so much more. When you’re seeking to build your very own augmented reality app, the Wikitude SDK has everything you need wether you need one, two or an unlimited number of apps. Android, iOS, Smartphone, Tablet, Smart Glasses, PhoneGap, Titanium, Xamarin – Wikitude has you covered!”
Think Spot
Trying to come up for more ideas for my project/s, is proving harder than I thought it would. I have a few ideas, but I'm not sure how to make them work, as of yet. I had a meeting with Stefan today, hoping it would shed a bit of light.
The meeting did help a little, but I still have a lot of brain storming to do before I can move forward. But I've got to sort my stuff by next week.
Time to go find a think spot.
