. Been feeling the call to scratch a few new milestones and totems into my skin... This pic was from the last time I had some work done. I had set up a tripod and gave the shutter release cable to my Baby Bruh, to snap a few throughout the process. After he died in 2011, I had drawn some artwork that told the story of my fathers life; and wanted to get it laid down within 40 days. So, I had my friend Nick Anderson, meet me at #secospringsranch, so that I could sit at the table where we last broke bread together. I then walked out to the lake, the same place we watched our last sunset together... hoping the answers would come. I didn't find the things I was looking for until last January, but I can finally say that he now rests in peace, at least with me... That's a long grieving process, but sometimes things run deeper than we know. We just have to go searching for them. I'm thankful for the tests. I'm more thankful for the strength he taught me. Stay the course... you'll find your own way through. #greggiannukos
