So I was replaying the game from scratch on a whim when I noticed Eris did a weird thing when I pressed Triangle while inching forward. I switched to Nowe to discover he could do it to, but I couldn't get it to work consistently at first. After some practice I realized what it was. If you press triangle and then immediately press forward on the analog stick, instead of doing an uppercut you'll do a powerful thrust attack! THIS IS NOT TAUGHT in the tutorial and it takes practice to do consistently. It's not even in the manual. I own it. I checked. This is so weird and cool. After picking this game up after years I'm learning even more new cool things about it! Drakengard 2 will always be my favorite
