Alya fused with the Ladybug miraculous and Marinette is in Shanghai! I called that last one!

Just watched the Secret Protocol trailer.

Here's my sepculation(s).

I think in the scene were Marinette looks scared and looks at her phone, Chrysalis/Lila/Cerise basically texted her "I know your Secret." Or something similar to that, and uses it as either black-mail or a threat against Marinette.

Then, I think Chat Noir spotted Chrysalis and chases after her. And then, Chrysalis decides to reveal the truth to him.

And IF the scene where Chat Noir is fighting someone (that we see from their prespective) isn't Chrysalis (or the akuma), then it's most likely Ladybug, because at that point Chrysalis told him the truth, and he's angry at Ladybug (for obvious reasons).

...

Also... for some reason we don't see the akuma. And it's throwing pineapple smoke bombs. I seriously have no idea who that could be.

Rooster Bold is the "Secret Protocol."

Ladybug is putting him on secret missions to find out who the new Butterfly Miraculous Holder is in terms of location via him sublimating Invisibility or Flight. Inspired by Monarch's frequently benefiting from that power.

I can see it conflicting with his relationship with Nathaniel (leading to a compromise in the plan) since none of the Miraculers would be in the know about it. Not even Alya or Chat Noir akin to that of her Rena Furative stint but with more powers for spying. Marinette would get use out of a friend she doesn't often have one-on-one friend time with.

i kinda love Secret Protocol's title

it was confirmed that the episode titles are of the "real" villain of each episode (example - Noe instead of the mime) and in episode 25 the enemy is not the akumatized villain because highlighted by the ending of ep24 (Queen of the Dreadzone) lila has a much bigger plan set in motion and THAT PLAN IS THE REAL VILLAIN that plan is lila's secret protocol and that plan is THE REAL THREAT.

basically how i think the ending will go:

Lila will either be instated into a position, or be a protege to Tomoe

The Kingdom will find out that Nathalie lied and does not have the Butterfly Miraculous

Lila may tell them to not reveal anything yet, and that she’ll handle it (then being explored more in Nemesis)

Nathalie will become a target for The Kingdom, because she knows too much; cliffhanger here

I didn’t even want to watch this season, but now I’m so personally invested in what happens

I’m fully back in the fandom now, I’ve been watching new episodes at like 2am when they drop like a Chud and I have no one in my life to talk about this kids show with so they all think I’m crazy
