"You are hopeless, child...simply hopeless." 🦀⠀ .⠀ I have finally FINALLY begun filming my very 1st music video of the year! I cannot believe it's taken me this long, but hey, when you have life-changing reverse-sea-witch-surgery, it's worth it to take all the time you need to let your voice heal & get strong before jumping back in the water again, right? 💦 Plus, you guys know I couldn't come back with something quiet & small...nah ...it's just not in me! 😅Haha. I wanted to come back to you guys musically with something special. ❤️I think it's kinda meta that this 1st song I recorded post-surgery (starting back in January!) was a Little Mermaid song. Well, I guess this whole situation is kinda meta, isn't it? Life imitates art imitates life? I don't even know. 😅 But the wonderful news for me is that I am finally moving forward on music, which means the whole world to this little mermaid. Thank you guys so much for your patience with me, and for all your support along the way! This project began over a year ago, but was put on hold because of my vocal problems and eventually my operation and recovery, but even though it's been hard to wait, it was worth it, because it's so much more meaningful now! ❤️The vid is being filmed now, and should be out sometime next month! ✨ .⠀ This pic is from day 1 of filming this next cover, which is a collab with some amazing singers & crew (some familiar, some new friends!) who I can't wait to introduce you guys to! Revisiting this dreamy Rapunzel bridal inspired shoot w/the amazing @dphotopro this week! 🌸 I'm editing the bts video now! 🎞 We still have so many pix from this shoot to share! Cool if I spam a bit more? @dphotopro did such a beautiful job! Can't wait to share it all! 🌸 Thanks so much to @secrethoney_official for this beautiful gown, veil & crown! I have officially been spoiled rotten! My wig is by @imstylewigs -it had such a great texture it was a breeze to cut & style! Oh! And my green contacts are by @ttd_eye - I love how natural they look! My natural eyes are green and blue and these green contacts were just subtle enough to up the green factor without making it look like I was wearing costume lenses. My favorite kind of costuming, makeup & wigs is when you can't tell it's not real! Well...that or straight up horror monsters. 😂 But for now, I'll keep twirling in princessland a bit longer.
