Learning to manage my BPD has been extremely hard.
The new thing that's going on with jiraikei and all the problems it carries prompted me to create this comic. It pains me to see people thinking that acting like this quirky or cute and then attacking those that tell them otherwise. Recovery and management is possible, learning to communicate without recurring to toxic coping mechanisms is possible.
It takes time and effort, and tons of therapy and sometimes even medication, but IT IS POSSIBLE. Finding a community that accepts you for you isn't mutually exclusive with finding a community that promotes recovery.
You don't have to feel miserable when in love, you don't have to constantly feel insecure and then act out, you CAN communicate your feelings, you have a right to it, too. And if the person you're with doesn't let you? Then you need to run from them as fast as you can. You're worthy of love, you're not a monster, you're just suffering. And you deserve to be happy and move away from that suffering and be healthy. ❤️ You just need to choose yourself and real happiness.
