Spirituality + science + philosophy = the art of healing. It’s no secret that I have a deep love for the study of hermeticism and esoteric teachings. During my study I came upon a chapter which discusses the importance of incorporating all methods of healing (not just science or prayer or naturopathy exclusively) when treating and diagnosing illnesses and disease. This is something I have felt all along to be true, and along the lines of how I treated Hildy’s wound. All of these methods of healing are equally important, and I feel it’s something that modern day medicine practitioners miss out on. It is something I have always believed and maintained in my craft. For those interested in learning more about esotericism and the secret teachings, I highly suggest this book! It has become my new bible so to speak 😅, as it contains a plethora of lost information for those who are knowledge thirsty. The title is “The Secret Teachings of All Ages” written and compiled by Manly P. Hall. If you can get past the first philosophy heavy chapters, and the male tone it is written in (common for the time it was published), it is a valuable read for witches and enlightenment seekers alike. A word of warning though! Don’t expect to finish this book quickly! I’m in my 2nd year of reading this book and I’m only half way. The reason is it will make you stop and explore each chapter thoroughly (perhaps even start other books on some of the subject matter discussed in the chapters). Almost every secret, occult, and taboo teaching is discussed within this book 📖- including important lost knowledge about female roles within religion, healing, and magic arts.
